"I'm only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand."

Leila's POV

Well, honestly, Sean wasn't exactly what I thought he was. But, he was still close to my assumptions.

After I ate the food Sean ordered, he got a call and went to attend it while I continued doing my work. It was so hectic. I had to submit all my pending work in a few days. Emily and I attended extra classes sacrificing our library and sports periods. Even breaks too. How pitiful.

But, I worked so much today for two reasons,

1) I wanted to be free from this tension as soon as possible.

2) Sean would start his drama in a day or two. He told me that he needed some pics in order to doubtlessly complete his dare and to get those, we would have to go out.

I was just about to pack up when Sean knocked my door and I opened it to find an over-fried, grumpy, roasted Sean.

He said,

"I'm going to bed."

"Um...okay." I replied awkwardly.

He was just about to leave when I suddenly told him,

"If I need something, I'll come to you."

At first I thought, it would be quite weird to say something like this but then, who cares?

He just nodded and went away. He didn't even close the door and I hated when people left it wide open.

I sighed and closed the door. Now, there was just a small distance between me and my beloved bed.
So, I went and let it hug me while I hugged my sheets.

Oh, love like this is irresistible...

~ Next Morning

"Yeah, everything's...pretty good here." I replied Anna who was on the other side of the call.

"Listen, Leila if something happens or you need any help, don't you dare hesitate to call us. Though I know you wouldn't." Anna said as we both laughed while I wore my converses. I was getting ready for my school.

When I got up, I was so worried about my clothes. I didn't bring even a single shoe with me so I ran to Sean and opened his door without even knocking.

Yeah, so I was the ill mannered duck. I thought he would taunt me again but when I opened the door, he looked at me with hair brush in his hands and shrugged his shoulders.

"What?"

"My clothes?" I asked.

He just sighed and went into my room so, I followed. He opened my wardrobe and tada! My clothes were there. Practically, they weren't mine but they were for me.

He looked at me and sighed. I just shrugged and said,

"What? It's not my fault. You should've told me. But, thank you."

I didn't want to owe him. So, thanking was important.

"Of course. Since the lazy elephant you are, you're welcome."
