Chapter 19: All Hell Breaks Loose pt. 1

The bell that signals the end of class has just rung. I had no more classes for today, but I did have an appointment with Julian. Yesterday, Alec and I fell asleep in each others arms, on the ground. My back hurt like a bitch, but it was worth it. I promised Alec not to talk to Julian about what he had said, but to be honest, I felt like kicking his face into his skull. He pissed me off.

As I walked through the hallway on the way to Julians office I saw Alec waiting for me by the lockers. I walked up to him and was about to kiss him when he placed a hand on my chest, looking around for anyone looking at us.

"Oh, sorry I-I didn't..." I said. He looked apologetically at me.

"My brother is still here." He explained.

"Why is it that he can't know again?" I asked. "It's not that he'll get mad right?" I said.

"Well, no I... I just, I'm afraid of how he'll react."

"Well that's bullshit. You don't care what he thinks." I said straight forward.

"Okay, I just don't want him to know anything about me because I feel like he doesn't tell me anything either. He doesn't deserve to know, and who knows maybe he'll ruin what we have."

"It won't be that easy, Alec. Our relationship is a lot stronger than you think. It's not a fragile glass that can be broken easily. You have to have more faith" I said stepping closer to him.

Suddenly I heard someone call my name. It sounded awfully a lot like Alec, but the voice wasn't as deep, I looked to see Elijah.

"What's up fags." He greeted. I looked at him with a frown, but quickly replaced it with a straight face.

"What's up, Eli. Don't you have class in like, half a minute?" I asked looking at my wrist watch.

"So? I have Miss J. She won't care." He said carelessly. "Dude, I feel like we haven't hung out in forever. Since you stopped coming to the dumpster. We never hear from you anymore. You spend an awfully lot time with my brother, which is really weird. Why don't you come over after school, see the guys. They all miss you." Elijah said calmly.

"Dude, I see you every day at school. We have lunch together all the time." I said dumbfounded.

"Alright we see each other all the time. But skinny and Tiny and the others, they keep asking where you are. Dude you were our main man, you can't just cut us out like that, that's not cool." Elijah said. I looked at Alec who looked like he wasn't paying attention to him but rather thinking about something.

"Well, what do you think, Alec. Should I go see them just for a little bit later?" I looked at Alec.

"Dude, he's your tutor not your mom? Why do you ask him" Elijah laughed mockingly. Alec seemed to pay attention now, he frowned at Elijah, but ignored his mocking.

"I don't know, do you want to?" He asked me. I shrugged.

"Oh my god..." Elijah sighed rolling his eyes. "Well alright, Mr. and Mrs. Lame why don't you just both come, so he can babysit you, if you're too scared to go alone, wuss." He suggested, I looked at Alec again making Elijah sigh and through his arms.

"Do you want to come with me?" I asked Alec.

"Uhm... sure, why not." he shrugged.

"Great, we'll meet back here in an hour and I'll drive us all there" Elijah said shaking his head and rolling his eyes at us, then he left. I looked at Alec with a slight smile.
