Don't Throw Away Your Shot

Chapter Six

Laf's POV

The curtains shined a bit lighter than usual. I looked out the curtain and immediately retreated. The sun turned into... how you Americans say it... Satan before my eyes. Not to mention, I was covered in sweat and in heat. Good way to start the day.

I took off my shirt and went to the living room. Alex was shirtless on the ground, staring at the fan.

"Alex..? You okay..?" I asked. I lay next to him. He wrapped his arms around my neck.

"Laffff its hoooooooot!" Alex groaned.

"Alex, get off! I don't want your body heat!" I pushed Alex off.

Alex scoffed.

But, mon ami, he was right. The sun was unbearable. The heat consumed us. It was also shinning so bright. I mean, France was like this sometimes, but not all the time. I pulled out my phone and began to text.

SassyFrencham- What's everyone doing today?
oDdLySaTiSfIeD- At our dorm dying.
HorseFucker-Same. Me and John are throwing ice cubes as eachother.
ANDPEGGY- I wish I could do that, but I would get slapped.
SayYesToMe: By me.
Elizamonroll- Yes you would.
DrunkMaster101- Can I all come over to your dorm Angie???
oDdLySaTiSfIeD- Sure Alex. Anyone can come.
HorseFucker- John says thanks. He's also saying some satanic ritual.
DrunkMaster101- So am I.
SassyFrenchman- Will be there in 5 minutes.
HorseFucker- Same.
SayYesToMe: As well.
AARONBURRSIR- Why am I even in this conversation.
{AARONBURRSIR has left the conversation.}

I turned off my phone and so did Alex. We just left the dorm. We went to the top floor and knocked on the door. Angie opened the door and signaled us in. She wore a pink crop-top and shorts. She turned a bit red when she saw Alex shirtless. She coughed and walked back inside. Alex followed me inside and we saw everyone on the floor. Eliza and Peggy were spread on the couch, with matching crop-tops but in different colors. Maria was with a tank top on Peggy's lap. Herc and John were on the floor- Herc shirtless and John in normal clothing.

"BUT HOW?!" I screamed, mind you, panting and sweating.

"I'm from South Carolina. The heat is the least to worry about." John responded.

Alex walked over to John and lay his head on his chest. I rubbed my hands together in satisfaction.

Nobody really said anything. We got popsicles and sucked on them (YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE YOU DIRTYMINDED PEOPLE).

"Guys this isn't fun!" Peggy complained.
She held the popsicle for Maria to lick it because she was being lazy.

"Your right. This is too boring." John
responded.

Alex was still cuddled against him.
Angie walked to the bathroom without warning.
I held Herc's arm as I lay next to him. He was always strong.

Angie came out and threw a water balloon at my face. Water splashed all over me as I stared at her with revenge. Everyone scramed to the bucket with water balloons and threw it at eachother. Peggy carried Maria on her back as they aimed at anyone. Angie and Eliza stood back-to-back and shot whoever approached them. I hid behind a recliner and Herc ran around trying to dodge the balloons, and also attempting not to step on Alex just laying on the floor, getting refreshed with the water soaking him. John hid under the coffee table.
Everyone laughed as they threw, got soaked, and pointed to the next victim.
I grabbed Herc's arm and pulled him towards me.

"Run towards Angie and Eliza and we'll tickle them." I whispered.

He nodded and threw his last water balloons at Alex, still on the floor.
Me and Herc rammed against the water and pushed Eliza and Angie to the ground. We pinned them down and tickled them.

Angie stared at Herc, not moving. We forgot she wasn't ticklish. Eliza was squirming around. She had her specific spots. Maria got the message and started to tickle Alex. Alex laughed and starting tickling her back. Maria and Alex laughed together. Peggy ran off to the coffee table and pulled John fron under the table. John gripped a leg from the table and Peggy tickled him. John let go immediately and started laughing hysterically as Peggy sat on his legs and continued ticklig him at ease. John couldn't get her back. All he could to was laugh again and again.
I tickled Eliza's legs as she started cracking up. She started kicking but I grabbed one and started again, her trying to kick me.

"I'm not done, 'Liza." I purred.

I tickled her more rapidly and she started gasping for air as she laughed. Angie tried to pry my hands off Eliza, but Herc beat her to it and was pulling Angie away from me.

After a while, Eliza called a truce. Everyone reluctantly stopped what they were doing. Eliza was gasping for air, and Angie and Herc stopped fighting. Maria and Alex sat up against the couch. Peggy sat cross-legged next to John, who was trying to recover from his tickle attack. He was crying. Crying.

*** *** *** ***

Needless to say, we were all sweating. Even John. Is was 2 minutes after the attack. We were all falling asleep one by one, after another. And so did I.
