Early afternoon light made it's glimpse in the day, the feeling of the morning drifting away. White clouds slowly drifted across the sky, casually blocking the sun's ultraviolet rays.

Today was going to be a very busy day for me. Not only do I have my normal hunting lessons, Queen Kiara is going to start giving me my Queen lessons today. It's all so much to do, but I'm determined to get it all done.

"Are you sure you can't skip your lessons or something? My dad finally gives me a break from my King lessons and I can't hang out with you?" Leo frowned.

"Now you know I can't do that. Why don't you go hang out with Kibwe like you always do?" I laughed.

"He's busy taking his Guard lessons with Uncle Kion."

"Oh, well why don't you go hang with some of the young lionesses or something?"

He rolled his emerald eyes. "All they'll do is try to flirt with me."

"And why don't you flirt back?" I teased, raising a brow.

"I only have eyes for you, believe me when I say that. Besides, I wouldn't want you getting jealous and attacking one of them. That wouldn't turn out pretty!"

"I wouldn't get jealous! I have no reason to be." I said in a defensive tone.

"Then what was that just now?" He chuckled.

"Ugh, okay fine. I admit, I would be crazy jealous."

"Oh trust me, I know." He laughed, before head budding me. I smiled and returned the gesture.

"Now go on, I don't want to make you late. I'll see you later, okay?" He said softly before walking behind Pride Rock.

I nodded before descending the rocky steps and landing in the soft green grass. Below Pride Rock I found Adia, Nya, Nama, and that new lioness Hadiya. She sat up straight with a big smile. They all shifted their eyes towards me.

"There you are. Where were you?" Nama walked up to me with a laugh.

I shook my head. "Sorry, I was talking to your brother."

"Flirting as usual I bet." Nya chimed in with a smirk.

I looked down at my colorless paws and blushed.

"Awww look she's blushing!" Hadiya said.

"That doesn't matter. Can we all just go, please? You all know how my mother is when we are late." Adia snapped, surprising all of us.

I eyed her suspiciously and she looked down. Adia doesn't normally act this way, and it's been going on for the past few days now. She is usually all smiles and has a positive attitude. Something must've really upset or hurt her.

Nama began leading us into the open fields. "Um okay, let's go then."

We all followed behind her slowly and in dead silence. Awkward tension filled the air as we made our way to the hunting grounds.

"I'm worried about her, Lana." Nya whispered to me.

"I am too. I've never seen Adia act this way before, ever! It's totally not like her."
