           CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

"Ok, Baby. We will pick you up in the morning to take you to school. Brush your teeth and make sure you eat breakfast in the morning." Tony said as he looked at Cai. He then got into the car and started it up. He then looked over towards me. "Are you okay?" Tony asked me. I didn't even say anything. Tony then took his hands off the keys and sighed. "Look, Cheryl-..... never mind." Tony said as he then started to drive. "I don't understand why you're trying to come along still. I'm going to be fine, like I said." I said as I looked at him. "I don't care. I'm going to be there. You shouldn't even be doing this in the first place." Tony said as he continued to drive. "You get on my nerves sometimes, you know that?" I said. "I don't care what you say- that's not gonna stop me from coming." Tony said as he started to look frustrated. "Cheryl, you're pregnant." Tony exclaimed. "Oh my, I didn't know that. Even though I'm pregnant, that doesn't mean that I can't do the things that I love to do still. I don't understand. You remember all of that stuff that I did with Cai? I'm not just gonna stop doing music or whatever else because of this. I'm going to be fine and you already know that. You just wanna come along because you know that Shemar is going to be there." I said in an upset voice. "You're absolutely correct. I see how he looks at you and it's not in a "best friend" type of way. He looks at you with that "I wanna smash the fuck out of you" type of look. Tony said as we sat at a red light. "Ok Tony." I said. "Okay? That's all?" He asked me. "Yeah, I don't have time to continue this arguing and.....just drive and be silent." I said. Tony just shook his head and continued to drive.

"Don't go in here acting all upset and mess." Tony said. "Who do you think that you're talking to?" I asked him as I opened the car door. "You. I don't have time for people asking questions." Tony said. "Ummm." I said. We then walked inside and Shemar was already there. "Hey, beautiful." Shemar said as he gave me a long hug. "Heyyy, best friend." I said as I hugged him back. Tony just continued to look at us hugging. "You excited about tonight?" Shemar asked me as he had his hand around my waist. "Very." I said as I smiled at him. Tony then clears his voice. Shemar looked over towards Tony. "What's Up?" Shemar says. "Hi." Tony says as he points at Shemar's hand. Shemar removed his hand and stepped back. "So, what about you, Tony? You excited?" Shemar asked him. "Yeah. Just came to support Cheryl, that's all." Tony said. "Cool. Cheryl, can I talk to you for a moment?" Shemar asked. "What is it that you have to say that you can't say in front of her husband?" Tony asked him. "Just some private stuff about myself. You don't need to know. It's not about Cheryl." Shemar said. "Still. I don't understand why it's so private." Tony said. "Tony, just let him talk to me alone. It's my best friend. Come on now." I said. "Fine." Tony said as he walked away. Shemar then grabbed my hand. "Shemar..." I said. "What?" He said as he touched my chin. "I know that your ass was lying." I said. "Yep. It is about you. I miss you." He said as he tugged at my shirt. "I miss you too." I said. "How's the baby?" He asked me. "Fine." I said. "That's nice. Can I?" He said as he pointed towards my belly. "Sure." I said as I looked down. He rubbed my belly and smiled. "Why are you smiling?" I asked him as I laughed a small laugh. "Because, I'm not sure." He said as he laughed. "Is he still making you happy?" Shemar asked me. "Yep. We kinda had an argument today but it's fine." I said. "Nothing that I have to beat him up about, huh?" He asked me. "No, I'm fine. Trust me." I said as I looked over at Tony. "Good." He said. "But, I do have something private to tell you." He said. "Is everything okay?" I asked him. "Yeah, I just have to leave for a little while. I'm not too fond of being here for that long after a while." He said. "I understand that." I said. "Don't look sad. Imma be back after a week. Then.....we can have some best friend time." Shemar said. I looked at him sideways. "Just best friend stuff. Nothing more." He said knowing that I thought that he meant something else. "Uhmmm k." I said. "Anyways, people are coming in, so go and do what you always do with those magical vocals." He said as he smiled at me. I smiled at him and held his hand.

AFTER BVM- IN THE CAR ALMOST HOME

Tony was kinda silent.....too silent. I looked over at him and then back out the window. Tony sighed. "Listen, I was wrong." Tony said. I continued to be silent. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "For coming tonight. I didn't have to do that." Tony said. "You're right, you didn't." I said as I agreed with him. "Yeah." Tony said. Tony then grabbed my hand. "I can be stupid sometimes, can't I?" He asked me. "No. You just love me enough to want to protect me...from anything and from anyone." I said. "I do. I love you very much." He said. I smiled. "You still mad at me?" He asked me. "I can never stay mad at you." I said as I looked at him. "It's hard to stay mad at you too. Just can't do it. The next minute I just wanna stop and get over the nonsense." He added. I smiled.

-It's so sad when you have to go back and read your OWN story because you forgot what was going on exactly.
