CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
"Mommy, I want to hold him again." Cai said as we arrived home a few days after the baby and I were in the hospital. "Hold on, Baby girl." Tony said as he closed the door behind us. "Ugh, I feel like I haven't been home in like 4 weeks and it was only a few days." I said as I looked down at my baby boy in my arms. I at him because he was just looking up at me with his little beautiful eyes. Tony came by and softly kissed Ciyle on his forehead, smiled and then kissed me on my cheek. "Ok, Cai- you ready to hold your brother again?" I asked her as I looked over at her turning on the TV in the living room and jumping on the couch with the remote. "Yes!" She said in a high pitched and excited voice. She then smiled, moved back on the couch to where her little feet were dangling off. She watched me walk over towards her with Ciyle in my arms. I then sat down slowly next to her and slowly started to place him in her arms. "Be careful with his little head, okay?" I said as I helped Cai position the baby in her arms. I then let him go and made sure that she had him in a safe position. "I know, Mommy. I did this the other day." She told me as she touched his soft hair. "Well, excuse meee then." I said as I pinched one of her cheeks. I then smiled at the sight of the both of my babies together. There's nothing that I love more than being a Mommy because it always brings me such happiness. Happiness that makes me wanna keep going even when I wanna stop. Their happiness is honestly all that matters to me.
"Are you happy about being a big sister now?" I asked her as I moved a piece of hair out of her face. She nodded her head, smiled and started touching his little hands. "His hands are so small and cute." Cai said as she giggled a little bit at the fact. I touched his other free hand and smiled as well. "You're right. I remember when you were a little baby like this." I said as I looked at her. "Were my hands this small too?" She asked me as she looked up at me. "Yes and you had the most cutest smile. You still do..." I told her. She laughed a little bit. Ciyle then started to cry a little bit. Cai started to look worried because she didnt know what happened to make him want to cry. "Awww, baby boy." I said as I gently look him from her. I then stood up from the couch while I started rocking him in my arms. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" I said as I tried to calm him down. He kept crying despite of me trying to calm him down. "What's wrong with Daddy's baby boy?" Tony asked as he came from around the corner. "I think that he's getting sleepy, babe." I said as Tony took him from me. "Come on little man. Lets go change you and let you take a nap." Tony said as he started to take him upstairs. Cai then jumped off the couch and came over towards me. "Mommy, I'm hungry." Cai said. "Alright baby- come on...ill make you something." I said as we both then went into the kitchen.
LATER THAT NIGHT
TONY's POINT OF VIEW
"Cheryl..." I said as I walked down the hallway with Ciyle to find her upstairs. "I'm In here." She said. I then walked down towards Ciyle's room and peeked around the corner. "Babe...what you doing?" I asked her as I walked into the room and saw her on the floor reading some instructions. "Uhmm...Im trying to figure this out." She said as she looked at the instructions with a confused facial expression. "You need to be getting some rest, Cheryl. I told you that I was gonna set up the crib tonight..." I told her as Ciyle started to cry a little bit. I started bouncing him around and giving him a few kisses. "Okay, fine. I'll let you do it because he needs to be in here tonight." She said as she stood up, fixed her shirt and started reaching for the baby. "It'll be done. Give me an hour." I said as I gave her a kiss on the lips and then gave her the baby. "I'll go feed him. What is Cai doing?" She asked me as she watched me grab the instructions and pick up a part of the crib. I then looked up over towards her and thought to myself. "I think that she's in her room drawing right now." I told her. She then just nodded at me and walked out of the room. I then looked back down at the instructions. "Eh, who need's instructions?" I said to myself and put the paper down. "I got this." I said as I clasped my hands together and looked around at everything.
CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
"Very Pretty." I said as I came into Cai's room to see that she was still painting. "Thank You." She said as she didn't look up from the canvas. I then walked over to her separate paint and drawing closet and moved a few things around. "Do you want me to tell Daddy to buy you some more canvas' and drawing paper?" I asked her as I turned around to look at her. She looked up at me and the closet behind me. She then shrugged her shoulders. "I'll tell him anyways. You're getting really good, baby girl." I told her as i then smiled at her. "Some of these are hard to paint though." She said as she turned the canvas around towards me for me to see. "All you have to do is keep practicing and you'll get it." I told her. She nodded her head. As I was just about to walk out of her room with Ciyle, she stopped me. "Mommy, does your head still hurt?" She asked me with a concerned look on her face. I then turned to look in her direction. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine..." I told her. "Ok." She said as she then went back to doing what she was doing.
LATER ON
"Tony, did you ever take care of what happened a few days ago? I don't know why but I barely remember anything." I asked him as I was getting the baby ready for bed in his room. "Oh yeah, I took care of it. The police still aren't sure about who it was. They wanted to talk to you actually that same night but too much was going on. Do you even remember what the person looked like?" He asked me. I thought to myself. I thought really hard about what the person looked like but it was just too dark. Plus, everything happened so fast. "No...well, I don't know. Also, I do want to talk to them still and at least tell them what I saw because Tony, this could happen again. What if that was my baby getting up at night to go get something to drink? I dont think that I could handle that..." I said as I looked over at him. "I know, Babe but I'll take care of it. The front door wasn't even locked and I dont know how that happened. We just need to be more careful." He told me as he walked over towards us. "Cai asked me about my head and I had to lie to her. My head has been killing me lately." I said as I picked the baby up. Tony then took him from me. "And that is exactly why I need for you to get some rest..." He told me. "I know but you said that she saw me that night. I wish that she didn't have to see me like that." I told him as I watched him give Ciyle a kiss. Ciyle then started smiling. I smiled at that. "I tried to tell her to go back upstairs to get dressed but she was in such shock." He told me. "This is just too much for one night. I'm gonna go to sleep. Are you sure that you got the baby?" I asked him as i put my hand on my head. "Yes. I know what i'm doing, Cheryl." He said as he laughed a small laugh. I then left to go lay down.
