They started to check Cai's temperature. Tony was next to her trying to calm Cai down because she was still crying. I've never seen Cai like this. "Yeah, her temperature is way over the normal." The doctor said as she recorded the results. "Okay? So, what do we need to do?" I asked her. "First, we are going to prescribe her some medicine. It could possibly be a head cold." She said. I looked over towards Cai. "I'm gonna go prescribe the medicine and then I'm gonna bring some ice packages to put around her head." She said. I just nodded. Tony was rubbing her head so that it could hopefully bring some type of relief. Tony looked over towards me. "You good?" He asked me. "I'm fine. Just a little worried." I said as I looked at Cai.

I could see it in Cheryl's facial expression that she was very uncomfortable and worried. I looked back down towards Cai and she was asleep. I'm surprised that she even stopped crying. Her head was very hot to the touch. "She's asleep." I said as I looked at Cheryl. Cheryl looked at me and then at Cai. "She's gonna start back crying when they come in here to put the ice packages around her head." She said. "I already know." I said.

"Okay, I'm back." The doctor said as she came in with the medicine pick up information and the ice packs. Cheryl stood up and came over by us. "Come on, baby girl. Wake up." Cheryl said as she leaned down and kissed her forehead. Cai opened her eyes and looked at Cheryl. "Hey, Cai. I got the ice packages for your head. You ready?" The doctor asked her. Cai just started to cry. Tony tried to calm her down again. "Mom, here's the paper. Here's where you can get her medicine from. Hopefully these ice packages will help. We are only gonna keep them on for 5 minutes and see how that goes." She said. "Okay, Thank you." I said as I looked at the paper. She then started to put the ice packages around Cai's head. Even though it could possibly be a head cold, they still needed some possible way to cool down her temperature.

     AFTERWARDS AT HOME

Tony carried Cai upstairs to her room. The ice packages helped cool her forehead and we already gave her the dose of medicine that was needed. "I'll be back." Tony said as he held his hand on Cai's back and disappeared into her room. I went into our room and took off my shoes and set my things down. Tony then walked into our room and I heard him take a deep breath. "Long day, right?" I asked him as I sat up from taking off my shoes. "Yes." He said. "I'm just happy that it's something simple that she can get over fast." I said as I stood up and looked at Tony. "Right, but I think that she should stay home tomorrow anyways. Even if she is feeling better because there's a chance for it to start back up and be even worse this time. After seeing her cry like that today? I don't think that I want to be around for anything worse." Tony said. "I totally agree with that." I said as I laughed a small laugh. "Anyways, I wanted to show you that I signed Caiya up for some Art classes. I hope that when I tell her about them that she'll feel better." I said as I picked up the papers and gave them to Tony. He put his hand out and reached for them. Once I gave them to him, he read over them. "Oh yeah, she's definitely going to like this. She might even want to go tomorrow." Tony said as he handed the papers to me. "That's if she feels better." I said as I took the papers from him and put them away. I then realized that I was getting a call from Shemar. I answered.
Tony looked over towards me as he took off his shirt so that he could get into the shower.

"Hey." I said as I answered the call.
"Hey, baby girl." Shemar said. I waited for him to say something else. I could see Tony looking at me and wondering who I was talking to. "Uhm, I-....hold on." I said as I took the phone away from my ear. "I'll be back." I said as I walked out. Tony nodded. I went downstairs. "I thought that you were upset with me?" I asked him. "I was but I can never stay mad at you for long. I miss you and I want to see you again. I'm happy that you're having a boy and I just want to be there for you." He said. I thought to myself. "I-....I miss you too." I said. "I know that you do. Can I see you tomorrow?" Shemar asked me. "I-...I might take Caiya to a painting class tomorrow but that's only if my baby feels better." I said. "Which Baby?" He asked me. "Caiya. Ciyle is fine." I said as I smiled. "Ciyle. I see that you two finally picked out a name for little man. I like it. Well, can I be invited? I wanna see Cai do her thang tomorrow if she feels better." He said. "Sure. I uh, I gotta go. I'll talk to you tomorrow." I said. "Talk to you tomorrow too." Shemar said as he then hung up.

"You good?" Tony asked me as I came back upstairs and into our room. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine. It was just Shemar." I said as I sat my phone down. Tony just nodded. I looked away because I know how Tony feels about Shemar and I being so close. Tony then looked over towards me. I tried not to look over towards him because he had his shirt off and that shit was sexy as hell.....I just didn't wanna go there with him.

"So.....you wanna try?" Tony asked me as he walked over towards me. "Try what?" I said as I looked him in his eyes. "I mean...we've never actually....yah know? It's been a while. " He said. "Actually what?" I asked him. "I haven't made love to my wife in a long time. I know that you're pregnant but I mean...." He said as he kissed me. "I won't be rough." He said as he broke the kiss and then kissed me again. I kissed him back and started to feel on his chest. I guess he took that as a 'yes, let's try again' when it comes to us making love after a very long time and me not wanting him to touch me. He stopped kissing me and then started to kiss on my neck as he tried to take off my shirt as well. As he helped me take off my shirt, I asked him a question. "What do you want me to do?" I asked him. "No. I got this. I want to please you. I told you that." He said as he started to take off his pants.

I started to feel awkward. I only truly wanted Shemar in this way. Fuck, I am stuck on him in all ways or am I wrong? I could be but at the same time.....looking at what's about to go down, maybe I couldn't be. "Tony, I can't." I suddenly said out loud. He was at the point of almost taking off his underwear but me saying what I just said, made him stop. He nodded. "You still don't want me to touch you, do you?" He asked me. "I just can't." I said as I looked at him. "Okay, baby." He said as he looked at me. "I'm gonna go take a shower." He said as he picked up his clothes and went into the bathroom. I could see that I hurt his feelings. I've been giving him mixed emotions and I guess me kissing him back made him think that everything was okay. I don't know what I want. I just don't.
