TONY's POINT OF VIEW

I was watching TV in bed after I took my shower and so I just got comfortable before a long day at work tomorrow. I was laying on my back with both of my hands behind me bed and then suddenly, Cheryl appeared into our bedroom. "Well, she's asleep. Even though it's her summer break- she still goes to sleep early." Cheryl said as she joined me in bed. "I already knew that she was gonna be sleepy after dinner and her bath." I told Cheryl as I watched her lay her head on my chest and wrap her arm around me. I then put one of my arms around her and started to rub her back. "I wish that she didn't hear all of those times when we were arguing." She said as she continued to watch tv. "Well, I don't know if it's just that we talk too loud or if she's actually putting herself in a position to hear what we are saying." I told her as I then looked at the ceiling. "I'm not sure but it-...it's hard for me to talk to her about stuff that she asked tonight. You know me, I still look at Cai like she's my little baby and I don't to expose her to anything major yet." She explained. "Babe, Cai is going to ask questions. She's a child and children are curious, Alright? Also, she's going to always be our baby. You have to know that she's growing up and that she's realizing more and more things. That's why we have to do the best that we can do and stop doing what we have been messing up on." I explained to her. "You're right. You're definitely right. It's just the Mother in me that worries so much and doesn't want her to grow up." Cheryl then said as she moved her chest a little on my chest. "I know, baby. She'll be fine." I affirmed her.

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT
CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

I thought that I was dreaming but I wasn't. I woke up and looked around the dark room to only hear the "pony" downstairs barking continuously. I then looked over at the time on my phone and it was a solid 11:00 pm. I then nudged Tony to wake up since his Pony was acting ridiculous and not letting me sleep. "Tony.....baby, wake up. Go and get your Pony." I said as I nudged him and laughed a small laugh at the way what I just said sounded. "Huh?" Tony said as he continued to have his eyes closed. "Tony! The freaking puppy downstairs keeps barking. I told you that I'm not going to be helping you out with it, since you don't know how to talk to your wife first." I then whispered harshly. "Alright. I'm going." Tony said as he then continued to lay there. I looked at him and just looked over towards the door. "Tony." I said as I touched him again. "I said that I'm going, babe. I got this." Tony said as he continued to lay there and he then fell back to sleep. "I-....really? Damn, now I gotta go and see about this freaking...." I said as I pulled back the covers and stood up to get out of bed. I threw a look back at Tony as I left out of the room. First, I went to go and check on my baby to see if she was sleeping just fine. Apparently, she's just like her father- a deep sleeper unless you nudge and tap her many times. I then rubbed both of my arms as I walked down the stairs because it was kinda cold out of bed. I then heard something downstairs. "What the hell is going on?" I said as I walked around the corner. Everything got silent after I said that. I turned on the light in the kitchen and then I made my way into the living room. Before I could even turn on the light, somebody pushed me down and I suddenly hit my head on the floor. The person had on all black and I couldn't even see his face because it was so dark in this room. "You're pregnant? Shit..." the person said as he then ran. In the position that I was in, all I could see was that person running out of the front door and just left the entire door open. Not caring. I reached up to grab my head and tried to yell Tony's name. It felt like nothing would come out of my mouth at all but I continued to try.

I rushed to wake up once I heard some commotion downstairs. I looked over towards Cheryl's side of the bed and noticed that she went to go solve the dogs barking herself. I ran downstairs and during that, I almost fell 3 times. "Cheryl?" I said as I ran into the kitchen and found the room to be empty. "Cheryl!" I yelled as I ran around the house and still couldn't hear her.

I then looked down the long hallway and I could see her on the floor in the living room. "Cheryl, are you okay?!" I said as I ran over towards her. She was trying to get up by herself but I noticed that her head was bleeding. "Damn....uhm...don't get up. Just-...just stay laying your head down while I call 911, Okay. Don't pick you head up." I said as I ran to get my phone from upstairs after I closed and locked the front door. As I stumbled down the stairs once again, I started to dial 911 and I held Cheryl's head. I brought a towel downstairs with me and so I applied pressure on the area that was bleeding.

I could barely see straight and all I could hear was the muffled sound of Tony calling 911 and telling them information. I just wanted to touch it and see how bad it was...

Cheryl continued to try to touch it but I wouldn't let her. "It hurts." She said as she started to cry. "I know, baby but I have to put some pressure on it. Just be calm and stay still. They're on their way." I told her as I then saw Cai slowly coming around the corner while wiping her eyes. "Cai. Go back upstairs and uhm- get dressed, Alright?" I told her as I looked at her. "Daddy...what happened to Mommy?" Cai asked as she fidgeted with the lining of her shirt and stood a few feet away. "Baby girl, Mommy got hurt but she will be okay. Just go upstairs and put on your other clothes." I explained to her as I looked down at Cheryl. "Mommy!" Cai said as she started to cry because she suddenly saw the blood on the towel. I looked down and sighed. "Baby...she will be fine, alright?" I told Cai but Cai was starting to get scared. "Now, go upstairs and listen to Daddy. Okay? Please, baby girl. Get dressed." I told her in a calm voice. She nodded and then ran back around to go upstairs.

I then looked down at Cheryl and it looked like she was out of there. "Cheryl?" I said as I patted her cheek and moved her arm a bit. "Hold on, baby. They're coming." I said as I was hoping that she wasn't unconscious or anything.
