CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW

Ever since after I had Ciyle, opportunities have started to pop up. I've been putting them off and declining them because I wanted to be at home with my babies. Plus, it's summer time and I just wanted to be here and enjoy my time with them.

"Mommy, can you play with us?" Cai asked me as she tugged on my shirt while I was having a conversation with Tony in the kitchen.

I stopped talking to Tony and looked down at her.

"Uhm, sure, baby girl. Give me a moment." I said as she then gave me a hug and ran upstairs.

"Anyways, I feel like I shouldn't do them yet." I explained to Tony about the opportunities.

"And why not?" He asked as he started making dinner for everybody.

"Who's gonna watch Ciyle? Plus, Cai wants to spend time with me." I explained to him.

"I can watch Ciyle at night, and your mom could in the morning and baby, I'm pretty sure that Cai would want to be here painting or going over Bre's house. You've been so busy with taking care of the children that you've been putting off the things that you love. Jump back into those things. You've been at home your entire pregnancy and now, just go. Have fun for once. I got this."

"I don't know, Tony. You know me and once I start working on these shows and stuff- it's gonna be hard for me to stop." I explained as I watched him put a pan on the stove top.

"I do know you and...I want you to do it. You can control yourself and yes, you do know when to stop." He said as he turned to look at me.

"You sure about this, baby?" I asked again.

"Yeeeeess!" He said as he dragged out the 'e' in a non-feminine tone.

"Alright. Well...I'll let them know that I can help out." I said as I tried to hold back my smile but it couldn't hold it's self back. I love doing what I do- singing.

I then made my way upstairs and I found Cai and Bre laughing and playing.

"What are you two beauties doing up here?" I said as I smiled, looked at them and put my hands on my hips.

"Another tea party." Bre said as they both smiled towards me. I guess that this was their favorite thing to do together.

"You two much love to have tea parties, huh?" I asked them.

"Yep." Cai said as she smiled over towards Bre.

"Well, can I join the two of you?" I asked.

"Sure, Mommy." Cai said as she pointed towards the chair.

"Thank you. So, what are we having today?" I asked as I tried to get comfortable in the small chair.

"Just tea. No crumpets." Bre told me. I nodded my head. I then poured myself some tea and they both examined my pinky to make sure that I held it out as I took a sip. I kinda wanted to laugh but if I did- tea would be everywhere. I put the cup down.

"Auntie Peps, can I stay here for tonight?" Bre asked in a sweet voice.

"Hmm, you'll have to ask your Mom and see what she says. You already know that you're welcomed to stay here anytime that you want, sweetheart." I said as I then took another sip.

"I hope she says yes because Daddy could probably take us swimming tomorrow. He likes to swim too but I want someone who is small like me to play with." Cai told Bre. I watched as the two girls engaged in conversation.

"I can't really swim..." Bre said as she made a worried face.

"Mommy could help you. She taught me how to swim. I've been swimming for a year now." Cai said as she put up one finger and said it in a proud voice- as if one year was so many years.
