             CHERYL's POINT OF VIEW
                   LATER THAT NIGHT

Shemar and I laughed as we were talking on the phone for almost 2 hours already.

"I'm happy to have my best friend back." Shemar said. I smiled to myself and walked around the bedroom with the phone close to my ear. "Same here..." I said as I then looked out the window and looked around at the houses next to our house. "I also....wanted to apologize. I felt like in a way- I disrespected you. I've crossed so many lines and I was only thinking about myself during that moment." He explained. I then became silent because I didn't really want to talk about or bring that up. "Don't-...don't worry about it. Some of it was my fault as well. I wanted you as well." I said as I walked away from the window.  "Anyways, how's both of the babies. Well...Cai is growing up now. Can't really call her a baby anymore." He said as he laughed a small laugh. "Ugh. You just had to remind me about that. She's still my baby, Okay? You know that she's about to start the 1st grade when they go back to school?" I said as I then sat on the end of the bed and touched the cover. "Wow. The 1st grade already..." Shemar said as he sighed.

"Hey, babe...can I talk to you right quick?" Tony asked me as he walked into the room. "Uh, sure. Just give me a second." I said as I shifted the phone in my hand. Tony nodded and waited. "Shemar, can I call you later or tomorrow?" I asked him as I then waited for a response. "Sure, Beautiful. Talk to you later." He said as he then ended the call.

I stood up and went to over to hug Tony. "Something wrong?" I asked him as I then gave him a soft kiss on the lips. He then smiled and placed one of his hands on my belly. "No, nothing's wrong." He said as he continued to look down at and rub my stomach. "Somethings wrong..." I then said as I grabbed his hands and held them. Tony then sighed and hesitated to say whatever he wanted to say. I waited for him to talk but it seems like he really didn't want to say it. "A while ago, you said that you've done something really bad but you didn't want to tell me. How bad was it?" He asked me as he then looked at me and let go of my hands to put his hands in his pockets.

I already knew that he was talking about and I already knew that it was what happened between Shemar and I that I didn't want to tell him. I don't want to keep lying to my husband but this is just too bad to tell him. I mean, yeah- he should know but I already know Tony. I know that he would get really mad because of the mistakes that I've made. Honestly, they aren't even really mistakes if I'm the one that encouraged him in the first place.

"It wasn't anything that you should really be worried about, Okay?" I said as I looked at him. Tony then looked away from me and walked to the other side of the room. "You're lying to me." He then said as he put one of his hands on his head and then pulled it down towards his neck. "Ok ok ok. Yes, I am lying but it's nothing that you should be concerned about if I finished what I started. Whatever I did, it's not gonna happen again." I explained to him. "Cheryl, I want you to know that whatever it is, you can tell me. Don't be afraid to tell me things because I'm not going to get as upset like I use to before. Just tell me, baby. I don't care whatever it is. We can still fix it." Tony said as he walked over and moved a piece of hair out of my face. I played with my hands as I looked down. "I-...I can't do that." I said as I then looked up at him. "You can't just tell me the truth?" He asked me. "No..." I then said. "So, how come you want me to always tell you the truth but when it comes to me? You can hide stuff from me. Am I right?" He asked me in a calm voice. "No. It's not like that at all. I just don't see why we have to bring up something that's already over with." I then told him. "I told you. I won't get mad, babe. I'm telling you this right now. I mean, I know that you wouldn't do anything major. You're too good of a wife to cheat on me or anything- so, I know for a fact that that's not it." Tony said as he laughed a small laugh. I laughed a small laugh as well. "Yeah, that wouldn't be the case..." I said as I turned and walked away from him. "Exactly. So, tell me." He then said.
