(Honey's POV)

Paulit-ulit? Unli? 

Ba't ba nag-eecho sa utak ko yan? Peste! 

Hindi pwede! NO NO NO WAY!!! 

Napansin ni Elise na natulala ako. 

She poked me. "Huy. Girl, anyare sayo? Tulala ka jan?" tanong niya. 

"Oh god. No, no, no. I can't fall for him. I can't fall for a guy like him. I can't fall for any guy, for that matter." sabi ko. 

"Why?" tanong ni Elise. 

"Because they're all the same. He'll hurt me in the end." sagot ko. 

"So that's why. Ayaw mong aminin na gusto mo na siya kasi takot kang masaktan. But really, you should take a risk." sabi ni Elise. 

BENGGA. SAKIT EH. TAGOS SA BULLETPROOF VEST KO. 

Namumuo na yung luha sa mata ko. 

"Honey. Hindi lahat ng lalake pare-pareho. Nagkamali ka nung una, siguro naman hindi masamang mag-try ulit." sabi ulit ni Elise. 

"Yun na nga eh. Nagkamali ako nung una, 'pag nagkamali ako ulit, antanga ko lang." sabi ko. 

"Pano mo malalaman kung hindi mo naman susubukan?" she said, then she left, leaving me with my thoughts. 

I cried myself to slepe that night, for the first time in years.

Paggising ko, I was thankful for the weekend. It means I have two days to think, two more days with no Julian. Thank goodness. 

I took a shower, put on some comfortable clothes, and cooked breakfast. 

Then somebody knocked on my door. 

Hindi pwedeng si Elise, may duplicate siya ng susi. 

Kinabahan ako. Baka si Julian.

Unconsiously, tumingin ako sa salamin. Inayos ang sarili, inayos ng konti yung sala. 

Binuksan ko yung pinto. 

Si Harvey pala. 

"Expecting someone?" he asked. 

Siguro I looked disappointed, kaya niya tinanong. 

"Not really. Come in." he did. 

Sa totoo lang ayoko munang makita si Harvey e. Kasi alam kong may gusto siya sakin, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Pero sa ginawa ng kapatid niya kagabi, at sa mismong nangyari kagabi, parang hindi pa 'ko handang makita siya. 

"Sit down." utos ko. 

And then I realized he was holding a bouquet of red roses. 

I felt myself blush. 

"I just wanted to apologize in behalf of my sister. For what happened last night." sabi ni Harvey. 

"Did she tell you to do that?" tanong ko. 

"No. She has a lot of pride, she won't apologize." sabi niya. 

"Then I won't accept your sorry, Harvey. I'm sorry, but I don't think you're the one to apologize to me. Your sister has to. At hindi ko alam kung bakit siya ganun sakin. Did I do something wrong?" sabi ko.
