Ezra's pov

I'm running. All I could do is run. Instead of facing my fear, I'm running away from it. Just like Kanan said, I'm weak. He wishes he had a strong padawan, but he has me instead.

More tears run down my face as I remember every hurtful word Kanan said before. I was just so overwhelmed at that moment, that I ran away from Rex and now have no idea where I am.

I'm so stupid.

*BANG!!!!!*

"Ahhhh!!!!" I scream and fall onto the ground. My ears start to ring from the loud thunder noise. My legs hurt so bad from running for so long. All I could do is cover my ears and shiver from how wet I am because of the rain.

At this moment, I feel so lonely and scared. I can't move because I feel so much pain.

*BANG!!!!!*

I yelp and my breathing increases. Please stop. Please stop. Please someone make it stop!!! My vision starts to go blurry. Oh no I can't blackout here, not now.

But my vision starts to turn black and the last thing I see, is a figure walking towards me.

Kanan's pov

"Excuse me, have you seen a kid?" I ask a woman.

She shakes her head no, just like the other ten people I talked to. I sigh and walk away from her.

I have been outside looking for Ezra for almost two hours. I checked all over town and I still can't find him. The thunderstorm has settled down by now, but it's still drizzling.

I see a man by a well with a bucket of water. He will probably say he didn't see Ezra but it's worth a shot.

I walk up to him. "Sorry to bother you, but have you seen a kid somewhere around here?"

"Does the kid have blue hair?" The man asks.

My eyes widen. "Yes. Do you know where he went?"

He has a sad expression on his face. "Follow me."

The man starts walking away and I quickly follow him. He brings me to a small torn up house. I could tell right away, this man isn't so fortunate.

"He's in here." The man says opening the door. I hesitantly walk in and only see darkness.

The man flips a switch that only lights up the room a little. But it was enough to see Ezra on the floor with a blanket draped to his shoulders.

"Ezra." I say surprised.

I immediately kneel down and make him face me. I put my hand on his shoulder. Ezra was breathing easy. I sigh in relief knowing he's alright.

"Ezra, wake up." I whisper shaking him gently.

"You should let him sleep." I hear the man say behind me. "He kept waking up with panic attacks but now he's sleeping peacefully."
