Kanan and Ezra One Shots

Reading........is boring/ A/N

Kanan's pov

Right now I'm reading one of my favorite books. We have no missions today and Ezra and I are taking a break from training. A good way to relax for me, is to read. To Ezra, not so much.

"This is so boring. I would rather meditate than read this." Ezra says and ends with a yawn.

I roll my eyes. "Reading is very important, Ezra."

"Sure Kanan, sure." Ezra says sarcastically. "Why can't we just train?"

"I thought we needed a break. Reading is the best option for relaxing." Kanan says.

"Did Jedi read?" He asks.

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure they did." I say.

"Did they read when they took breaks?" He asks.

"I don't know. Most Jedi meditated." I say.

He gives me a confused look. "Then why are we reading? These books don't even have any information on Jedi."

"Why does it have to?" I ask.

"I don't know. To not make the people who read this chapter confused. Because this is not sounding like a Star Wars Rebels fanfic at all." He says.

I sigh. "If you don't want to read, then don't read."

"Bye!!!" Ezra says dropping the book and walking away.

"Wait Ezra..........you know what, forget reading." I say and throw the book on the floor. "I'm going to meditate."

I'm sorry this one is short. I haven't posted in awhile and I wanted to do something short. I wanted to update on the New Academy Trouble and Thunderstorms parts but I haven't gotten any ideas. I need suggestions on it. So this was really an A/N but with a short chapter story. Hopefully I will be able to update again soon.
