Remnant's Knightfall (Rwby X Bane Reader)

Part 3

I stood at the lockers, waiting for the other students to get up. I reached into my bag and pulled out my mask, wondering how certain people would react if I showed up to the initiation  wearing it.

Ah well, they're gonna figure out sooner or later, might as well get it over with.

I put on the mask and made my way to the cliff where the initiation would take place.

As I arrived at the launch pads I saw Ozpin and Glynda standing by the Cliffside, they both looked at me as I walked over to them.

"I take it I'm too early to get started?"

They both looked up at me, while Ozpin didn't seem to mind the mask I could tell that Professor Goodwitch was rather nervous about my appearance.

"The initiation begins in ten minutes, you are welcome to return and wait for the others if you wish to do so."

"I'll just wait here if you don't mind." I said as I walked over to the cliffs edge.
I sat down in a lotus position and began my meditation.

Several minutes later I heard them walking towards me, I turned around and was greeted by a shocked Ruby and a oddly smiling Yang.

"Y-you, you're....." Ruby stammered looking slightly scared as I stood beside her.

Yang on the other hand was strangely happy when I stood next to her, She looked at me and grinned.

"I thought you looked familiar, but I wasn't completely sure."

I had a quizzical look under my mask.
"You're awfully calm all things considered, I thought I would have a fight as soon as you saw me like this."

She winked at me and put on a pair of sunglasses, "Oh trust me, I plan on having a rematch soon enough."

"I suppose that's fair, but know that I won't go easy on you."

She laughed as she got ready to be launched. "Same here big guy."

As she flew into the forest I cracked my neck and balanced lightly on my feet.

Let's get this party started.

I was launched off and was soon heading towards the center of the forest. As I began to decend at a alarming speed I braced myself and crashed through several tree branches, as I broke through the third one I grabbed the next branch and dropped down directly onto an Ursa Major's head.

I back flipped away and raised my fists as the Ursa roared at me.

I ran forward and kicked away one of it's paws as it tried to hit me, I grabbed it's head and with a twist of my arms snapped it's neck.

I turned around and began walking away from the dead Grimm only to see a small pack of 14 Beowolves surrounding me.

"Alright, who's first?"I said as I drew the knife from my boot.

Flipping it over I caught it by the blade before launching it with such force that it hit a Beowolf and pinned it's skull to a nearby tree. There was a moment of silence and then they all rushed forward.

I dodged the first one and grabbed the second by it's open mouth, I tugged and with a loud crack ripped off its upper jaw filled with a row of sharp teeth.

I spun and grabbed another one and slammed the jaw into it's skull, the long canine teeth punctured the brain killing it instantly.

As I turned towards the rest of them I threw a haymaker into the closest one's head, the force of the punch was enough to break his skull. I turned towards another one and tackled it, as I held it by the stomach I raised my arms and slammed it headfirst into the ground, I grabbed it's claws and broke them off using them to kill another one who had rushed behind me.

I threw a uppercut into another Beowolf launching it into the air, as it came back down I grabbed it and slammed it into another one crushing them both. I planted my heel into the chest of the fallen one and gripped its arms, with a loud crack I tore them both off and used them to kill two others.

As I was fighting I noticed two more creeping up behind me, I turned around and saw a trail of rose petals fly past me as they were both cut in half.

I then focused on the last two as they both charged me head on.

Not exactly the smartest of creatures are you?

I ran forward and drop kicked the first one, sending him flying into a tree so hard that his spine broke on impact. As I got back up I jumped back to avoid getting slashed, as the second Beowolf rushed towards me I flipped forward and landed a powerful axe kick on its head driving him into the ground, I walked up to the other one, paralyzed from the impact with the tree, and crushed it's skull between my hands.

I looked behind me and saw Ruby standing there with Crescent Rose in sniper form aimed at the now dead Beowolves. She retracted it into a case and put it on her back as she walked towards me.

"Thanks for the assist, I take it that you don't have a partner either?" I said as I retrieved my knife from the tree.

She shook her head "No Weiss is around......somewhere."

As she said that the bushes parted and out walked the haughty girl from before only this time she was holding a rapier with engravings on the sides and an oddly shaped cross guard.

She  took one look at me, covered in the blood of my enemies, and the dead Beowolves surrounding me before gagging slightly, she put a hand over her mouth as her face turned green.

"Afraid of a little blood chicka? If that's true then you're in the wrong line of work."

"Shut up you dolt." Weiss mumbled as she tried to calm her stomach."And I'd hardly call that a little bit of blood."

I looked down at myself and chuckled. "Fair enough."

"We still need to find the relics before we can leave." Ruby said as she stood in between us.

I sheathed my knife back in my boot and turned towards the end of the forest.

"Then let's get going." I said as I began jogging towards our destination, the other two right behind me.

(Ozpin's pov)

I stood watching the footage from the new student only known as Bane, I was impressed to say the least.

Glynda was standing beside me looking a bit pale as we watched him first kill the Ursa with minimal effort, then dispatch a small pack of Beowolves.

"Never before have I seen someone fight with such efficiency, or with such brutality."

As I said this the screen showed him ripping the arms off one of the Beowolves, he then proceeded to stab the claws into another one's head and when a third one arrived he simply beat it to death using the arm as a makeshift bludgeon.

Glynda cringed slightly as we watched him crush a Beowolf's head with his hands. "I did a background check and it's odd, the only record I could find is of him working as a bouncer at a local club until recently.  There's nothing else."

"Thank you Glynda." I said as I turned back towards the screen.

Well then let's see how this plays out shall we?
