Remnant's Knightfall (Rwby X Bane Reader)

Shout outs and a bit of backstory

Well this story recently hit 160 reads.

And yeah I am once again surprised but happy that this many people have read my story. Now someone messaged me congratulating me on this and asked what was my inspiration for starting this fanfic. And I decided why not share it with you all?

So when I was younger(about 13) my friend got me a ps4 for Christmas, it was the best Christmas gift I ever got, ironically it was also a good bye present because he was moving to the UK a few days later. But anyways when I got it he had several games to go with the ps4 and one of them was Injustice Gods Among Us.

So me and my Brothers, as well as my friends whenever they came over, had a lot of fun every time we played. Halo 3, COD black opps 2, Dirt Rally, Need for speed, Mortal Kombat X. But by some unspoken agreement we always ended the day with a few rounds of Injustice.

When I first got the game I was, of course, pretty bad at it. But as we played we each got used to the controls and began to get comfortable with a certain character or two.

For my brothers it was batman, joker, and deathstroke, range spam the opponent with bullets, batarangs, grappling hooks and cans of laughing gas all day long. As you can imagine fighting them was pretty rage inducing.

Well I preferred to take the fight to them so I got used to Bane and I had a lot of fun with him. I learned how to quickly close the distance and then met them head on with punches, kicks and body slams.

So then a few years later Injustice 2 came out, as you can imagine we were all pretty hyped for it. I loved the new moves and character designs, and Bane God he was badass. Faster, stronger and the new super move was great.

So then when I was on Wattpad I decided to do a fanfic about RWBY because well I liked the series, It was unique. The animation, the characters and the storyline were all very well done. But I didn't know how I should write it.

Then I read Vantal1226 story Wild Card, featuring my second favorite DC villain The Joker, and I thought why not use my favorite villain then. And so I started writing this story.

So there's the story, and now I'd like to give credit to a few people who's stories have been a pleasure to read and have inspired me in my writing.

Shout out to Dranged for his story The Unseen Blade. It's a great and exciting book to read so far, keep up the good work man.

Also a shout out to Freakskullz98. Reaper in Remnant has been one amazing book and the endings of each chapters are great, seriously someone should animate that.

And last but not least, a big shout out to cristaadams. Her story Kissing Steel was a pleasure to read, and I couldn't be happier with the ending.
