I stood next to Ozpin and we watched the scanner move over Ivy's unconcious form, he then turned towards me and nodded.

"Well then, she should be fine for now. So tell me who is she?"

"Her name is Pamella Isley, and she is.....well someone from my world."

I looked down at her and saw the cracks in her skin had started to slowly close up, her skin had also began to return to its normal green color.

"We knew each other, back in Arkham."

"I see, so she was the one killing the Grimm."

"The ability to comunicate with and control any type of plant. Mother nature's gift, or curse depending on how you look at it."

I looked at my scroll and then turned towards him.
"How long before she wakes up?"

"Her vital signs are stable, she just needs to rest. I'm not a doctor but I'd say around two days."

"Alright then, notify me when she regains consiousness. Now if you excuse me, I have a duel with a dragon."

I sent Yang a message after putting on my gear, as I entered the arena I saw her standing in the center. I looked up and saw her teamates seated above.

"You sure you want to do this?"

She grinned as she loaded her gauntlets. We raised our fists and began circling each other.

"Backing down from this fight Bane?"

"I've broken you once Xiao Long, and I'll do it again."

She then rushed forward and threw a bunch of quick jabs at my head and chest, I blocked most of them and parried the last one before begining my own offense.

I lashed out with several punches and she knocked them aside, I grabbed her arm and slammed her into the ground. She flipped back onto her feet and threw a haymaker at my head.

Predictable.

I grabbed her wrist but as I pulled her towards me she jumped forward and drove her knee into my chest. As I stumbled backward she grabbed my hand and executed a flying armbar knocking me on my back.

Heh, not bad. But not good enough.

I raised my arm and slammed her on the ground causing her to loosen her grip, I kicked her back and we both got up and charged at each other.

I punched her twice and grabbed both her arms only for her to land a hard kick on my chin, as I let her go she punched me across the cheek and  jumped back. She then ran forward using her gauntlets to propel herself towards me as she raised her fist.

As she drew near I grabbed her just before she could strike, I flipped her over and power bombed her into the ground. I looked at the screen showing her aura level and saw that it was drawing close to the red.

I turned back towards her and was met with a punch to the face, as my vision cleared I was suddenly knocked down by a powerful kick. I looked at her and chuckled.

"A lucky shot, won't happen again."

She glared at me before sprinting forward with her gauntlets raised, I knocked her fist aside and kicked her twice before a third one sent her flying back. She landed on her feet and we both went into a deadlock with her gauntlets blocking my fist.

"Ending this with a Yang?"

"Don't test me woman."

She then shot a blast into my eyes before spinning around and punching me onto the ground.

Ok....enough of this.

My thoughts were interrupted by a fist heading towards me, I sidestepped her punch and threw my own into her stomach catching her as she passed by. I grabbed her waist and executed a powerful headbutt stunning her, I then jumped up and piledrove her into the ground.

As the dust cleared I looked at the screen and saw her aura was one hit away from being depleted. I looked at Yang who now stood unsteadilly on her feet.

"I belive I've won this match Xiao Long. Ready to yield?"

She glared at me before letting out a scream as she slammed her fists together, her eyes changed from their usuall Violet to bright red as her hair seemed to catch on fire. She ran towards me and I grinned as she started throwing punches.

I however made no effort to attack, instead focusing purely on defense. Every blow she struck I simply parried and deflected away from myself, she never hit me but neither did I strike her.

Any time now.

Several minutes later I jumped back and moved to the other side of the arena before glancing at the screen and then at her, with a smirk I held out my hand and made a simple but clear gesture.

Come and get me.

She yelled as she sprinted forward her eyes now glowing red, but with each step she took she became slower and slower and her fire began to fade. When she finally reached me she simply stumbled forward and weakly tapped my chest before falling down.

I caught her before she hit the ground and she lay in my arms like a ragdoll. She blinked and her eyes changed back to their usual violet before looking at me with a confused and tired expression.

"Wh-what happened? Why do I.....feel so weak?"

I chuckled as I carried her towards the Infirmary.

"Simple, your semblance is powerful but it only lasts as long as your aura can sustain it. Even though you have a unusually large amount compared to others, against heavy strikes like the ones you took it can only last so long."

I kicked open the doors to the infirmary and set her down on one of the beds before pulling up a chair beside her.

"Your aura was already being used to shield you from the strikes and using your semblance simply drained it faster. With the small amount you had left it was only a matter of time."

As I fininshed she slumped down on the bed and sighed.

"Looks like I can't win against you Bane."

"Don't be too hard on yourself Yang. You're stronger than you realize. Now you need to heal, I'll let you rest."

I started to get up but I felt a small tug on my sleeve, I looked back and saw her holding my hand.

"Stay here, at least until I fall asleep, please?"

I thought for a moment before nodding and sitting back down. As she lay back down holding my hand I looked at her smilling face.

So peaceful compared to her usual flirty attitude.

As I looked out a nearby window I saw some movement beside me, out of the corner of my eye I saw a pair of silver and amber eyes staring at me for a second before dissapearing.

Ah well, I'll deal with that later.

I sat down and began to meditate beside Yang's bed, as I closed my eyes I felt her snuggle into my hand slightly before laying motionless on the bed.
