(Salem's pov)

I watched through the Seer's globe as Beacon was slowly overrun. No matter how many Grimm the Atlas forces shot down more and more kept coming. Slowly the defenses crumbled before the Grimm began to pour into the city, running rampant through the streets and laying waste to the kingdom and it's inhabitants.

I smiled as I watched the chaos unfold, reveling in their fear as I watched the kingdom begin to slowly fall apart.

It won't be long before Vale is under my rule. And soon the rest of the kingdoms will follow.

I waved my hand and the image changed in the glowing orb, however what I now saw brought no joy. Instead I watched in shock as Bane picked up my knight and snapped his neck, letting his body fall onto the ground before he walked away towards the weapon. I clenched my fist as I looked at him beginning to try and disable the weapon before I waved away the Seer and closed my eyes. Connecting my mind with my most loyal servant.

"Yes my queen?"

"My knight has fallen, and Bane has access to the weapon now. I'm afraid you are out of time now."

"Understood, I will move to intercept him and undo his work."

"No! Stay your course and retrieve the Fall maiden's power. In the mean time release the ancients, we'll let them handle the few remaining huntsmen."

(Neo's pov)

Ivy's vines ripped away the last of the Beowolves as I made my way through the service halls, the others right behind me. For some reason the Grimm seemed to be originating from here, and until we found out why more and more would keep coming until we were overrun.

I lead the way down the dimly lit hallways, passing by a few dead security guards before I looked inside one of the open rooms. My eyes widened in surprise and I jumped back just as an Boarbatusk shot out of the doorway, pinwheeling around before he started spinning towards me at an alarming pace.

I drew my blade from the umbrella and stood, poised to strike it. But before I could even land a hit it let out a loud scream as it was suddenly snatched up off the ground.

Looking back I saw Croc holding the oversized tusks in his hands, ripping them off it's head with minimal effort before he stabbed one into it's eye. It let out a loud pained squeal as the sharp bone punctured the skin, Croc grinned before he shoved it deeper until the sharp point of the tusk was protruding from the back of it's head.
With a hard tug he ripped it out of it's head, breaking open it's temple and slowly exposing it's brain, the gelatinous pink globe slowly beginning to turn red as blood dripped onto it's brain from the tusk.

Tossing the now dissolving body away he opened the door and we all looked down at a small black puddle on the ground, slowly stepping back as a Beowolf began to climb out of it before it was suddenly ripped in half by Croc.

He shoved aside both halves of it's body with a grunt before we looked back at the small pool of black sludge.
"How should we get rid of these?"

I reached into my coat, taking out a small vial with lightning dust inside, I stepped forward and smashed the tiny bottle onto the ground around it. There was a small crash as the dust was released and small bolts of electricity spread over the puddle before it suddenly began to ignite the substance, burning it away until all that remained was a few scorch marks from the flames.

Fire or lightning dust will do the trick. We should hurry though, no idea how many of these "Grimm pools" there are in here.

As soon as we left the room though I was suddenly pushed forward by Croc, I flipped forward, converting the momentum of the shove into a cartwheel as I flipped back to my feet. I gracefully twirled a little ways down the hallway as I heard a loud crash from somewhere behind me in the corridor. Looking back I saw a large length of pipe embedded into the ground where I had been standing a few seconds ago.

I looked up and saw the others all standing defensively; claws, vines and riding crop all raised before a loud roar shook the hallway. I looked down the corridor and my eyes widened at the sight of the monster in front of us.

I drew my concealed blade and held another vial of dust in my other hand, eyeing the massive Grimm warily as Glynda looked at me

I drew my concealed blade and held another vial of dust in my other hand, eyeing the massive Grimm warily as Glynda looked at me.

"The extraction is almost complete, we just need to stall this one for a bit longer. Neo, handle the other Grimm pools, we'll take care of this.....monstrosity."

At her words the Grimm roared and charged towards us, as it drew near two large vines shot out and wrapped around it's legs and slammed it to the ground. Pinning it to the floor as Croc ripped the pipe out of the ground and lashed out, stabbing the jagged edge towards the Grimm only for it to suddenly shift and become slightly translucent, the pipe passing through its body as if it were made of air.

Before Croc could retaliate it's fist went flying into his jaw, sending him crashing into the wall with a loud thud followed up by a strong kick to the jaw, smashing his head into the concrete before it rushed towards Ivy. She raised her hands up and a wall of thorny stalks and vines formed in front of her, however the Grimm simply leaped through it, reforming on the other side before it shoulder bashed Ivy away. Grabbing her legs as she flew back before slamming her body into the ground hard enough to crack the tiling, tossing her limp body aside before it became focused on me.

I dodged three swings and lashed out with my blade, which passed harmlessly through it's chest before it reached out and grabbed my body. Raising me up to it's eye level, massive fingers pinned my arms to my sides.

With a rumbling roar it drew me back and slammed me three times into the wall, I cried out in pain as my ribs creaked from the hard impacts, before groaning as I was suddenly dropped onto the ground. I remained motionless for a few seconds before looking up at the Grimm looming over me, my body dwarfed by it's massive, eight foot tall build.

As It raised its fist to smash me open it suddenly let out a roar of pain before I stumbled back, I looked up and saw several sharp chunks of debris and rock embedded into it's back and shoulders. Glynda whipped her ridding crop downwards as more jagged fragments of concrete or metal began to float around her shoulders and was launched towards the monster, before suddenly passing through it's body as it shifted again.

Solidifing a few meters away from her  it swung it's massive fist at her head with a deadly speed, before suddenly getting body slammed into the ground and kicked across the room as Croc stood beside Glynda. A small cut on his forehead was sealing up, even as he quickly saved her from the brunt of the attack before tossing away the overgrown Grimm.

"She's right Neo, take care of the others. We'll handle this Grimm."

I nodded and scrambled to my feet before running down the hallway towards the other rooms. I heard heavy footsteps beside me as it appeared in my peripheral vision and swung it's fist down to crush me, only to turn translucent as a sharp crooked pipe was hurled at his head, now harmlessly passing through it's head.

Taking my chance I leapt through it's translucent body, shivering at the weird feeling as I passed through it's chest, before landing on my feet and continuing down the hallway. Taking out a few vials of dust before I set off to locate the next Grimm pool, cringing slightly as I heard a loud roar behind me, looking back I saw the other three in a furious battle with the Grimm. Dodging and blocking strike before retaliating with their own attacks.

Hold him off guys, until I finish clearing this infestation.
