Remnant's Knightfall (Rwby X Bane Reader)

Part 17

(A/N I think these two look good together, maybe that's just me. But anyways on with the story.)

I waltzed over to team RWBY's dorm and knocked on the door. A few minutes later the door opened and Yang peeked out of the room.

"Hey Bane, what's up?"

"Just came to say hello, oh and I have a little something for your leader."

She looked at the box and then turned towards the room.

"Ruby, he brought cookies."

As she said that I heard a squeal of delight as Ruby suddenly appeared in front of me in a trail of rose petals. I held out the box and she took it and then hugged me.

"OmygoshtheseonesarethebestThankyousomuchBaneIloveyou!!!"

I just stood there in surprise, while trying to understand her sentence.

She then rushed back into her room while I chuckled at her actions. Yang smiled at me.

"How thoughtful of you."

I shrugged, "Well, I saw them and thought that she'd like it."

"Well it's almost time for curfew, see you tomorrow big guy."

I waved goodbye before walking towards my room, I opened the door and lay down quickly falling asleep.

....Wake up.......

I opened my eyes and got up immediately at the sound. I was always a light sleeper, a habit from my time in prison.

I looked around and saw nothing but darkness, no walls no room everything was just.....gone.
I was surrounded by a dark black, almost smoke - like mist.

Another hallucination?

"Oh I assure you, this is all very real."

I turned around and saw a pair of glowing red eyes staring at me from the darkness, I walked towards them but they blinked and disappeared.

"Well last I checked eyes don't just dissappear in real life."

The eyes reappeared beside me and I heard a soft laugh echo through the swirling mist. I looked at them and suddenly I felt a touch on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw a strange woman behind me, her skin was pale with dark cracks running down her face and arms, she wore a black dress and as she smiled at me I saw both of her eyes glow red.

She walked over to me, reached up and grabbed my hand.

"Is this real enough for you?"

"Fair enough, so.....who are you and where am I?"

She smiled as I walked away from her only to reappear beside her.
