Part 9

They both nodded and walked over to the dance floor, by now Yang had finished her drink and she got up to follow us.

"I didn't know you danced."

I shrugged "When you work in a club you're bound to pick up a few things."

She smiled and we began moving on the dance floor as the music changed to a slower track.(A/N start the song)

The twins began to dance a mixture of hip-hop and ballet, me and Yang both began to dance a little ways away from the twins.

As we were circling around each other she placed her hand on my shoulders and moved my hands to her waist. We both began swaying back and forth with the music, she looked at me and smiled but this one wasn't with her usual cheeky or flirty attitude. She just looked.....happy, content with what was happening.

After a few minutes she leaned her head on my chest and closed her eyes. I looked down at her and then gently patted her head. She looked into my eyes and everything else seemed to slow down and I leaned closer....

And then the music changed, we both snapped out of it and the twins began pulling me towards the center. We began dancing again but I couldn't help but wonder what happened back there.

Unknown to me Melanie and Miltia were both glaring daggers at Yang, after about fifteen minutes we went back to the bar for a break.

"Melanie, Miltia, would you like anything to drink?"

They both looked at each other before pointing at the Strawberry sunrise, I chuckled and ordered one for each of the girls including Yang, as well as  another beer for myself.

I looked at them enjoying their drinks and smiled, for once I felt like I could relax and let my guard down. Just enjoy a drink and the company of my friends.

As I drank the beer I heard a ruckus coming from one of the tables, I looked and saw three guys, obviously drunk, hitting on two faunus girls. One girl pushed one of them away but the other two just seemed amused.
The largest one grabbed one of them by the wrist and began dragging her towards the bathroom while the other two followed with her friend.

The twins started to get up but I held up my hand. "If you excuse me ladies, I'll be right back."

I set down the bottle and put on my mask. I walked over to them and tapped the tallest one on the shoulder.
He turned towards me and looked up at my face. "The fuck do you want?"

"Just doing my job."

"Yeah? And what's that?"

"Taking out the trash, you lot in particular."

They turned towards each other and began laughing, then one of them grabbed my collar and dragged me towards him.

"Beat it pal, we're going to have a good time with these bitches over here. So why don't you go fu-"

Before he could finish I leaned back and delivered a powerful headbutt into his face, there was a loud crack and he fell backwards cradling his head in pain.

The others pushed the girls out of their way and charged at me, one threw a punch at me which I dodged with minimal effort. I punched him in the side and threw my knee into his stomach, he stumbled back before throwing up all the alcohol he'd been drinking.

The second one threw a kick at me but I sidestepped and brought both my fists down on his back knocking him on the floor.

I stood up and turned towards the two girls, "You two okay?"

I helped one to her feet, but then her eyes widened and she pointed behind me.

"Look out!"

I spun around and felt a sharp pain in my forearm, I looked and saw the first guy with a knife in his hand. He growled and swiped at me several times.
