"I don't know, Jihoon is really worrying me right now. Did you see his face? He had dark circles under his eyes and he looked so tired. To top it all off, he's not like himself." Minji sighed as she rested her head on the desk.
"Talk to him about it, you're his girlfriend." Nari shrugged while taking her books out from her bag, "Someone I'll never have . ." Jinyoung muttered to himself.
It was loud enough for Minji to hear but not for Nari, "Patience, Baejin." She snorted leaving Nari confused as to why Minji replied to him instead.
"I'll try again today."

"Your girlfriend is dead worried about you. She's been texting me ever since last night, what's up?" Daehwi leaned closer to Jihoon who rested his head on the table with his arms. The boy groaned and sat up.
"Nothing's wro-" "There clearly is something wrong." Daehwi cut him off, getting more eager to know the reason for Jihoon's weird behaviour.
Jihoon sighed, finally looking at his concerned friend. "I just don't want to involve her in it." He replied. "Involve her in what?" Daehwi asked.
Jihoon honestly didn't want Minji knowing about his father, not that he doesn't want her to know but he just didn't want her to worry about him. He didn't want her to help him pay the hospital bills, it was their own family problem and he didn't want to involve Minji in it.
She's probably stressed in school already, Jihoon didn't want to add more stress in to her life.
"My dad is in hospital . ." He started off, Daehwi's eyes widened, "I'm sorry." He quietly said. "That's okay. As I was saying . . he got in to an accident, my mother and I are worrying about the hospital bills, I don't want to tell Minji because I don't want to bother her with my problems." Jihoon sighed.
"Well, she's your girlfriend Jihoon. You have to tell her the problems thats causing you to act this way so she can understand. You don't want to end up like Daniel do you? He never told her the reason why he acted cold towards her. I thought you two trusted eachother?" Daehwi explained.
"If you don't trust eachother then what's the point on getting together in a relationship?" The boy continued, not breaking his eye contact with Jihoon. "It's not as easy as it seems Daehwi." Jihoon replied, sighing for the nth time.
"I never said it was but she's your girlfriend." "That's what I'm saying! She's my girlfriend and I don't want to bother her." He ran his fingers through his hair, he was slightly frustrated.
He was trying to figure out why Daehwi was trying to push him in to telling Minji about it.
"You're not a botherso-" "You know what? Let's just get this work done." Jihoon blocked his ears from anymore words that comes out from his friends mouth and turned to his book.
Daehwi sighed, eyeing his friend one last time before quietly doing the same.
After a couple of more minutes, the bell finally rang meaning it was time for break. Daehwi quietly packed his bags, not knowing what to say to Jihoon.
On the other side, Jihoon stuffed his books in his bag and swung his bag over his shoulder, "I'll wait outside." He said and headed towards the door.
But before he could fully step out of the class room, a hand gently tapped his arm causing him to turn around thinking it was Daehwi but it wasn't. "Oh, hey Rae. What's up?" He asked.
The girl cleared her throat, "I heard what you and Daehwi were talking about. Firstly, I'm sorry about your father, hopefully he gets better soon." She started off, Jihoon nodded his head. "I can help you pay off the bills." Rae quietly said.
"Rae, you're too kind, it's okay reall-" "I insist. I really want to help." She cut him off.
"Are you sure?" He hesitantly asked his classmate, the girl nodded giving a faint smile.
More money, more medicine for dad, faster recovery. He thought to himself.
"I'll ask my mother about it. I'll talk to you tomorrow." The corner of Jihoon's lips curved up in to a beautiful smile before heading out the door. "Wow you actually talked to Rae." Daehwi chuckled as he stepped out of the classroom.
Jihoon slightly chuckled.

"Jihoon, I'm really worried about you. Tell me what's wrong, please?" Minji spoke, breaking the silence between them. The air felt thick and she didn't like any of it, especially between her and Jihoon.
The two were currently walking to Minji's house, Jihoon insisted on dropping her off every single day which flattered her.
"You trust me right?" She asked, the boy nodded. "So why don't you just tell me what's wrong and we can figure it out. I'd be willing to help, no matter how much it costs me." Minji continued.
"Everything is fine, Bub. I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Jihoon felt very guilty about not telling Minji but it was for the best.
The rest of his friends already know about his situation, no one else. Sometimes you just have to do risky things.
"Alright, if that's what you say." Minji sighed, giving up. Jihoon felt a pang of guilt hit his chest but shrugged it off.
"I'll see you tomorrow, go home safely." She gave him a goodbye peck before entering her house, "I will." He called out.
Jihoon lied, he wasn't going home. He was heading to the hospital, to visit his dad then after that he was going to work til closing.

"What?" Minji asked. "Min, I need to tell you something." Daehwi cleared his throat, his voice somewhat sounding nervous. "Go ahead, Dae."
"Okay, I don't really know how to put this in to words. But anyway, just so you know, I'm risking my freaking life right now just to tell you this." The boy nervously chuckled from the other line.
"You weren't supposed to know about this but Jihoon's dad got in to a car accident. That's why he was so down today, him and his mother were worrying about the hospital bills and the lack of medicine his father will get if they don't pay-"
"What!? How come he didn't tell me? I could've helped with the payment." She felt extremely sad about this, not only his dad got in to an accident but also her boyfriend not telling his problems to her.
I thought we trusted eachother. She thought to herself.
"I know, I know. But that's the reason! He doesn't want to bother you with paying the bills. It's quite upsetting but please understand where he's also coming from. I mean, you two just got together. If he asks you for money, what will your parents think of him?"
