"Jihoon! Park Jihoon!" Minji hastily called out to the boy, Jihoon turned around greeting her with a warm smile.
But she frowned back which caused him to frown as well, "Hey, Bub. What's with the long face?" He pouted, "Do you trust me?" She replied with a question. Jihoon was taken back by her sudden question, "Of course I do . ." He stared at her eyes, showing his honesty and sincerity.
"Then why didn't you tell me the actual reason for your stress was because of your father getting in to an accident?" Minji wasn't trying to be selfish, she was extremely worried for her boyfriend and as his girlfriend, she had the right to worry about him.
"Where did you-" "It doesn't matter who told me, I just want to know why you kept it from me. I'm not angry." She cut him off, switching her weight to her left foot and waiting for an answer. "I just didn't want to bother you with my problems also you looked stressed enough because of school, I care about your health." He replied.
Minji's heart raced faster as she heard those words come out of his very own mouth, she was very flattered. "But I could still help, I heard your situation. From this, I well know that you're going to overwork yourself. You also need to take care of yourself." She explained, Minji was truly worried about her boyfriend.
"It's okay, I'm fine. I've already got someone to help me and my mother out." Jihoon smiled.
"Who?" Minji asked, thinking one of their friends probably offered to help him. "Rae, she insisted and . . I couldn't say no." The boy shrugged. "Oh . ."
He couldn't say 'no' to her yet you rejected my offer before I even knew it.
"Just so you know, I'm still here . . as your girlfriend, if you need support." Minji smiled. She felt extremely sad about Jihoon accepting Rae's offer yet he declined hers. Yes, it's a bit childish to think that way but she couldn't help it, she wasn't going to lie, she felt jealous.
Minji felt like she hasn't done anything in return to him, that was supposed to be her chance to repay him but Rae took it away and he didn't complain. It bothered her, it bothered her so much she could already tell she was going to have a bad day.
As stubborn as it might sound, it was probably the truth.

"Why are you so quiet?" Jihoon poked her cheeks but she wasn't bothered and kept listening to the biological facts their teacher was teaching, "Listen to the teacher . ." She dryly chuckled, masking her jealousy.
The class went on per usual but the only thing different for Jihoon was, he felt his girlfriend being distant. Although she was there next to him, Minji was mostly quiet, it felt like she wasn't there because of her silence. Jihoon didn't like any of it.
Minji quickly stood up as the bell rang, her stuff already packed, not waiting for Jihoon as she headed for the door. It just wasn't leaving her mind; the fact that Jihoon chose Rae over his girlfriend bothered her.
"Minji- Wait up!"Jihoon called out as he jogged towards the girl, reaching for her arm and successfully grabbing it. "Are you jealous?" Jihoon chuckled which annoyed her.
When Jihoon was jealous, she didn't rub it in his face. Minji kept it to herself instead of asking him, why couldn't he do the same? Or was she just plain childish to act this way?
"Maybe I am, maybe I am jealous that you picked some other girl instead of your own girlfriend." Minji scoffed before completely heading out the room, her jealousy got the best of her. She knew she was going to regret this sooner or later but with that much jealousy in her, she didn't care whether she was going to regret lashing out on him or not.
Jihoon's heart sank, he felt guilty asking her that stupid question but he couldn't figure out why she needs to be jealous. Rae was clearly intending to just help him pay off the bill, couldn't she understand that he didn't want her to be bothered by this?
The girl ignored his call for his name but as she kept on walking, her mind was telling her to stop being stubborn and deal with it. That was life, destiny does what it wants.
"I need to talk to you . ." Minji desperately tugged on Daehwi's blazer, she needed some advice right now. "What's up Min? He asked, pulling out the chair next to him and gesturing her to take a seat. "I confronted him about the whole hospital thing but I also found out that he accepted an offer from Rae. I know I shouldn't think beyond the situation but I can't help it." She sighed.
The other two who were sitting around the table along with them heard their conversation which made Jinyoung face palm and Nari sigh.
"It's okay to be a little jealous because yes he accepted another girl's offer but declined yours so that's acceptable but don't be so over about it. This will affect your relationship with him. . Understand where he's also coming from, Min. Also don't think that Jihoon accepted the offer because he wants to mess with someone else, which he doesn't. Rae is only doing that because she wants to help, nothing else. That girl clearly knows that you and Jihoon are together, she's a sweet person, she wouldn't do anything to ruin your relationship.
Minji carefully thought to herself, "You're right, I should stop acting like a child. Rae is just helping Jihoon with the hospital bills, nothing else." She sighed, feeling more calm and relieved.
"Don't worry, we're here for you Minnie." Nari smiled, "Yeah . ." Jinyoung agreed.

"Jihoon, I'm sorry for being such a child. I shouldn't have acted that way, Rae only wanted to help you, nothing else. I understand." Minji stared at her shoes.
School just finished and the rest had already gone home, Minji waited til Jihoon finished his Basketball practise. "That's okay," The boy smiled, pulling her in despite his sweaty self. Minji groaned at the stickiness which caused Jihoon to laugh.
"Can I visit your Dad today?" Minji asked, "Sure."
