Beautiful wonderful Those are cliché words.
Minji tossed and turned around her bed, shivering. The sun was just rising, her head felt light, her body was hot but the air felt cold, her nose was suddenly blocked and her throat felt sore.
The girl groaned as she sat up, the dizziness suddenly hitting her.
Minji slowly walked out of her room to get herself a glass of water, her mother was already awake and making breakfast. "Minji, you're up early." Mrs.Kim chuckled.
She groaned in response and sat on the dining chair, resting her head on the table and forgetting to get a glass of water. "What's wrong?" Her mother walked over to Minji, feeling her forehead.
"You've got a fever, it must be from yesterday. I don't think you should attend school for today." She sighed, watching her daughter with pity in her eyes.
Minji shook her head, "No, I have to revise. I have to study for History, I don't want to fail that subject again. Moreover, I don't want to disappoint dad."
Her mother sighed, "Visit the clinic if you're not feeling well. Take care of yourself, okay?"

"Hey, are you okay?" Minji looked up and saw Daniel's worried face. His dark brown eyes staring right back at her, the girl slightly smiled while nodding. "You don't look too well. Did you get wet from yesterday's rain? It was pretty heavy." He asked.
"Yeah." Minji replied, her croaky voice shocked the boy a little. "You should've stayed home. You're sick." Daniel sighed, placing his warm hand against her hot forehead.
"That's okay, I'll visit the clinic later." She spoke. "No, go to it now." He shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest while jutting his bottom lip out.
"Later." "Now." "Later." "Now-"
"What are you two arguing about early in the morning?" Nari cut off Daniel's sentence. "Your friend right here is being such a stubborn kiddo not wanting to go to the clinic when she's obviously sick." Daniel sighed, pointing to Minji.
"I can handle it, relax." Minji defended herself, giving her friend a cheeky smile despite her lightly bloated face. "If you don't go right now, I'm going to call Daehwi." Nari raised a brow at her.
"No! Not Daehwi, he's so anno-" "Oh, you want me to call Jihoon then?"
Silence filled the quiet hallway. Minji blinked a couple of times, "Whatever, go call whoever you want I'm still not going." She shook her head, swerving the two and continued to walk to her locker.
Minji low-key wanted Nari to call Jihoon. After all, he's the only person who can melt that ice around her heart. She's soft for him.
The girl slowly took out her books, her body getting harder to control. It felt like her hands were jelly and she wanted to just drop down on the floor but she didn't. "Minji, you made me worried again." The girl froze upon hearing his voice.
Her heart raced faster and her palms started to sweat.
She didn't know if she was lightheaded because of her fever or because of Jihoon's voice. It drove Minji crazy. "I didn't do anything. What do you mean?" Minji scoffed, turning to face him.
Soft on the inside but a hard outside, nice going Minji. She thought.
Jihoon had a soft expression plastered upon his pretty face, it made her even more nervous. The way he looked at her with such affection in his pretty eyes, the way the sun reflected it's rays on the side of his face made her fall even more, the way his hair softly fell on his forehead made him more ethereal.
He had to be unreal. How can someone be so effortlessly handsome?
"Nari called me. She said you were sick, they told you to go to the clinic but you didn't." He spoke, reaching his hand out to her forehead.
Minji froze a little, it's been a while since they had contact with eachother. His gentle touch ran chills down her spine.
"I told you guys, I'm going later." She rolled her eyes, scoffing once again. "Go now. You don't look too well. Do it for me." He replied, his bottom lip slightly out
Minji sarcastically laughed, "And why would I do it for you? You're not special, Jihoon." The boy sighed, mentally face palming himself. Stubborn as ever. He thought. Minji placed a hand on top of her forehead, slightly groaning, her legs slightly giving up on her.
The dizziness was worse than before.
"H-hey, are you okay?" Jihoon held Minji by her shoulders, tightly gripping them so she wouldn't completely fall. "Goodness, I told you to go now." He sighed, turning around so his back faced her.
Jihoon hoisted the girl up on his back, her arms loosely wrapping around his neck. "Put me down . ." Minji silently muttered, her chin resting on Jihoon's shoulder just enough for his scent to engulf her nose.
He ignored her empty pleas and kept walking down the hallway.
Nari and Daniel watched from afar. The girl slightly smirked, "Looks like Jihoon was the only one she needed to take her to the clinic."
Daniel laughed, "They were in love, after all."
Jihoon brushed Minji's loose hair out of her face as she peacefully laid on the bed, eyes closed. He examined her soft features resembling a goddess.
"Please take care of yourself . . bub."

"What answer did you get?" Daehwi looked over to Minji's exam practise paper.
It's been a week and things were slowly returning to normal, for Daehwi, at least. Minji was slowly opening up to Daehwi, she couldn't resist her best friend after all.
The girl has thought about it a lot, Daehwi wasn't really in the position to tell her about the situation with Rae so Minji figured he didn't really do anything wrong.
After all, Daehwi was still Jihoon's friend and it was just a friend keeping a friend's secret.
Though the two are still awkward, they're warming up to eachother. "Uh, forty six?" She hesitantly replied. Daehwi nodded, a pleased expression plasted upon his face.
The rest of their group stole glances at Minji especially Woojin and Jihoon, the two couldn't believe their eyes that she was sitting in the same table as them. Nari smiled to herself, "This is fun, isn't it? Minji is slowly opening up." She whispered to Jinyoung.
The boy nodded.
Minji looked up, only to see a Woojin and Jihoon staring at her. "W-what are you two looking at?" She asked.
"Okay, you two need to stop doing that. Give the girl a break." Daehwi sighed, shaking his head. He stole a glance at his best friend, a small smile forming upon his pink lips.
