Minji was taken back by Daehwi's sudden weirdness but shrugged it off.
The boy jogged around the school grounds trying to find a particular someone, someone that is toxic enough to ruin relationships, someone that only cared about herself.
"Rae!" Daehwi called out causing the girl to stop her tracks, smirking before facing him, putting an innocent face on. "Yes, Daehwi? You need anything? . ." She sweetly asked, smiling.
He rolled his eyes, "Cut the crap, I know you did this to Jihoon. Why is he acting that way? Huh?" Daehwi glared at her.
Rae inwardly chuckled, "Uh . . I'm sorry, I don't know what you're trying to get across." She made a confused face.
"You're the only person he's been around with for the past few days, not even Minji, his own girlfriend. Now, tell me, what's really the catch? Why'd you offer to help?" Daehwi needed to find out why Jihoon acted so different, he's one hundred percent sure that Rae had something to do with this.
"I pitied him. And aren't you assuming too much? All I want for Jihoon is the best, him not being with his girlfriend isn't my problem." She almost rolled her eyes before walking away.
Daehwi huffed, Liar.
As Daehwi was about go, someone pulled his left hand causing him to stumble near the bushes, "What-" "What did you two talk about?" Woojin asked, his sparkly dark eyes piercing in to Daehwi's making him scared a little.
"Woojin, why are you-" "What did you two talk about?" He cut him off, Daehwi sighed, "I confronted Rae. Jihoon has been acting weird these days, only around his girlfriend though and I think Rae is the reason why."
"She is the reason." Woojin noticed their hands still connecting and let go of Daehwi's hand. "Wha-" "Please don't tell Minji." He begged, Daehwi's eyes widened.
"You think I want to keep such a secret from my best friend? No way! She has to know about thi-" "It's for the best! Jihoon says so." Woojin replied.
"I can't believe you two . ." He shook his head before walking away.

Minji entered her Biology lab, eyes scanning for an empty bench, somewhere Jihoon didn't sit at. She wasn't mad at Jihoon, she was mad at herself.
She was mad at herself for being such an oblivious girlfriend, she could've comforted Jihoon through the times he needed comfort but she didn't and she blamed herself.
Minji blamed herself, she blamed herself for being the reason why Jihoon acted cold to her.
She blamed herself becaused she should've cared enough for him in which she probably didn't, that's why Jihoon acted cold.
It was her fault and she was embarrassed.
Luck wasn't with her this morning, not like it ever was throughout the past few days. She couldn't find an empty bench so Minji slowly made her way to the back bench, discomfort engulfing her body as she neared the person she wanted to see last.
Minji sighed and dragged the stool to the far end where she wouldn't normally sit, she set her bag down and didn't dare look to her right as Jihoon was that side.
Though the room was filled with noisy chattering from the students, it felt like their world was silenced, even she could hear her fast heart beat over the loud noise.
She wanted to say something, she truly did. All she wanted to hear was his sweet honey-like voice not his cold uninviting one.
Minji was about to open her mouth til the teacher came in, stopping her from doing so. Jihoon took a side glance at Minji, he noticed her hesitant bevahior around him and he didn't like it.
He didn't want her to be like that, I'm really sorry, Minji.
The class went on as usual, Minji and Jihoon being quiet as ever, they both hated it. Daniel from across the room also noticed their weird behavior, A lover's quarrel? Maybe? He asked himself.
He's been observing the two lately and the results were the same, they both ignored each other. Daniel didn't want to get involved but he was curious as to why Jihoon acted so cold towards Minji, he thought Minji meant the world to Jihoon so why would he act that way?
As the bell rang, Daniel slowly packed his bags, waiting for Minji to pass by his bench.
He glanced up and jogged towards the girl just as she walked past, he called out to her which caught Jihoon's attention who was still neatly packing.
Daniel grabbed her hand causing Minji to turn around, "What do you want?" She asked, sighing.
Jihoon eyed the two from the back of the room, his blood boiling. Just cause Daniel has seen that Minji and I are distant doesn't mean he can walk up to her anytime he likes. Doesn't he remember that he broke her heart? He scoffed
"I-i've noticed you and Jihoon-" "It's non of your business." Minji rolled her eyes, as rude as it came out, it was the truth. "You're right. Sorry." He let go of her hand and stepped back, lowering his head.
It was finally the time for Daniel that reality hit him. As much as he still wanted her attention, he's decided to let her go and let her be with the person she actually loves.
And that person was Jihoon.
Daniel figured he needed to be mature and aware that there are others and not just himself, he figured that he needed to be selfless and that was what he's doing now.
He still wanted to remain friends with Minji but that was probably going to be tough.

"Just tell me a reason why you're acting this way!" Minji ran her fingers through her hair, frustrated.
She had pulled Jihoon in to a quiet place where they could both sort his weird behavior out. "For the nth time, I have no reason, I'm not acting different." He held his chin high, showing his coldness.
She sighed, "It's my fault isn't it? I'm really sorry that I wasn't there to comfort you enough and-" "Stop pitying yourself." He rolled his eyes.
Minji got more and more frustrated as every second passed, she wasn't having any of his crap right now, "You know what? Fine. If you're just going to keep acting like this then so be it. You want this, right? Tell me, Jihoon. You've found someone else haven't you?" That was the last question she wanted to ask him.
She hoped he would say no, Minji crossed her fingers.
But his smirk said otherwise, "What if I say maybe I have?"
