Minji shrugged off their weird behaviour, "I'll see you guys in a bit. The cheerleading squad will be on soon, don't forget to cheer for me." Nari laughed before running off.
"I will!" Jinyoung called out.
Daehwi and Minji snorted at Jinyoung's behaviour and shook their heads. "Hey . ." Jihoon ran towards his group of friends, he was already in his Basketball uniform. "Aren't you supposed to be back there?" She asked, holding on to Jihoon's hand.
"Yeah . . but Coach let me run off for a minute and I decided to see you." He chuckled. Minji smiled, "I'll cheer for you non-stop. Hopefully you guys win."
"Thanks bub. I'll see you in a bit." Jihoon placed a gently peck on her forehead before running off to the lockers.
Daehwi had a teasing smile formed upon his lips while ne nudged her. "Can you two get together already?" Minji laughed at his sentence, "Hmm . ." She mirrored the same teasing smile he had.
The MC for today's game then announced the opening intro by the home team's cheerleading squad. "Go Nari!" Jinyoung shouted over the cheers of the spectators as the cheerleaders came out.
Nari gave him a shy smile before getting in to her position, as usual she was at the front.
They put on a great intro performance, making the audience even more hyped up for the last game. Minji felt a bit nervous as well since she found out this was the finals and whoever won gets the trophy, she never knew it was this intense.
As the cheerleaders were done, the audience gave them lots of adoration before they went off courts.
"Okay! Now is the time we've all been waiting for!" The MC spoke. He called both teams out, everyone cheered for different teams they wanted to win.
Both teams went to their designated benches to get ready but the two captains stayed behind as instructed by the MC.
"How are you feeling today?" The MC placed the microphone in front of Daniel whose smile never faded, "I feel great and nervous. Just getting in the finals make me happy." He nervously chuckled.
The MC then said the same thing for the opposing team captain. "Just like what he said, nervous and great. Hopefully we win this one, I'm actually quite worried since their team puts a really good game on." The opposing team captain spoke.
