I'm missing you I'm missing you
Even when you're right next to me.Daehwi fully knew about the thing with Minji and her father. Last year, he remembers Minji running to him with tears in her eyes in the middle of the might.
The girl was a crying mess but he comforted her, nonetheless, that's what best friends are for. He remembers Minji saying that her father lashed out on her because she got a grade less than 90 for her History exam.
Her father then lectured her about getting distracted because of the boys in her school and didn't pay attention enough to her teachers but she did. Minji was locked up in her room ninety percent of the time, studying her heart out just to make her father smile.
The rest of her grades were absolutely great but he decides to focus on that one low grade of her's.
It pained Daehwi seeing Minji cry because of her father, he felt very sorry for Minji.
"It's just family problems, I guess." Daehwi muttered after taking a sip of his drink. He didn't want to tell the rest about Minji's relationship problems with her father, he wasn't in the position to tell them.
After all, Daehwi was the only person who knew about the whole situation with Minji's father.
"Probably." Woojin shrugged.
Jihoon who was distant from the conversation, thought about what he was going to do. He couldn't think of anything. The boy couldn't afford facing her again, he made a fool of himself.
Why could he never do things right?

"Minji?" Her mother lightly knocked on her door. Minji quickly wiped her tears and flipped a couple of pages so no fallen tears would be seen on her book. "Yeah?" She replied, trying to sound as normal as she can.
"Aren't you going to eat? It's already 10PM." Mrs.Kim asked, a tone of worry in her voice.
Honestly, she was hungry.
But that didn't matter at the moment, she wasn't going to eat til she gets the History notes inside her head. Until she's satisfied of herself.
"A-ah, no. I'm not hungry, I eat earlier." She lied, "Okay . . theres still dinner downstairs, if you want to eat." Her mother sighed before walking back to her shared room with Mr.Kim, somewhat feeling bad about Minji.
Minji's mother walked in to the shared room, sighing. "Don't you think you're going a little too harsh on Minji? She's been locking herself up in that room for god knows how many hours."
Her husband sighed, "Minji needs to learn her lesson. I told you I was against her relationship with Jihoon and Daniel before, she's dated two boys, two. I'm worried about her education! You fully know what happened last year because of that Daniel."
"She was distracted. She was distracted because of that Daniel and what was the result? She failed her History paper. This is why I didn't like her going to a co-ed school." Mr.Kim added.
"And what are we going to do? Transfer her to an all girls school? Just when she's halfway through senior year? Have some pity for the kid." His wife scoffed.
She didn't want to transfer Minji to another school, not when she's already made close friends moreover, family.
"That's exactly what I'm thinking." He firmly stated.
Minji could clearly hear their conversation as she walked down the hallway. She shook her head, No no no. I can't transfer to another school! I'm going to miss Daehwi, Jinyoung, Jihoon, Nari, Woojin, Daniel and the rest of the Basketball team though some of them piss me off. I can't transfer to another school. Not when my feelings for Jihoon still hasn't left. She thought.
The girl needed to prove herself to her father that she's serious about education.

Minji came to school feeling a little lightheaded and dull but shrugged it off, it was probably because of he weather. "You look a little sick and pale, you okay?" Nari bent her knees a little, trying to match Minji's height.
The two just finished their Maths class, Nari headed for the Cafeteria while Minji headed for the Library.
Concern was written all over her face.
Minji nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little pressured for the upcoming exams."
"Don't be, I'm sure you'll ace them." She smiled, patting Minji on the back. "I'll see you around." Minji mirrored her smile before heading to the Library.
Minji set her bag beside her and took out her notes from different subjects. Of course she started with History first, that was the subject she was most concerned about and certainly not confident on.
After a few minutes of studying, her stomach grumbled and a headache occured. "Ah, not now . ." She muttered to herself while re-writing notes down.
The girl ran her fingers through her hair as her hunger and headache became stronger. She was about to get up until someone had placed a brown paper bag in front of her.
The person sat across from her, the bag blocking it's face. Minji moved the bag out of the way only to reveal Jihoon who was fiddling with his fingers.
"You should eat. You've been skipping lunch for the past few days." He whispered, avoiding her eyes.
"That's none of your business and I'm not hungry." She huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. Unfortunately, her stomach betrayed her and a low growl could be heard.
Jihoon raised a brow, finally look directly at the girl. "Stop lying to me and eat. I'm worried about you . ." He spoke, muttering the last part to himself.
Minji and Jihoon sat on one of the outside benches, a huge gap in between the two. She honestly couldn't contain her happiness as she saw her favourite food inside the bag.
Burger.
"It's your favourite." He softly spoke, smiling to himself. "You know, you don't have to sit next to me and watch me eat. I'd really like it if I ate by myself." She replied while opening the burger.
"Why are you doing this to yourself? Isolating yourself from the rest. Suffering alone." Jihoon stared at his shoes, ignoring Minji's reply.
The girl sighed. "Because I can. Now if you leave me alone, that would be great."
He turned his head to her, "Why do you always push me away, Minji? I miss you . ." Jihoon replied, whispering the latter.
Jihoon didn't get why she always pushed him away, he knew that she disliked him for what he did but Minji wouldn't let him talk to her if she disliked him that much.
Because if I don't, I'd fall for you even more. I'd be distracted again.
