I hate myself for realizing this now.

Minji and Rae awkwardly stood next to eachother under the brightly shining stars, the dark night sky being beautiful as ever.

"You wanted to talk to me?" Minji cleared her throat, breaking the awkward silence between them. "Oh . . right. First of all, hear me out, please." Rae uncomfortably shifted, looking down at her jet black heels.

She deeply sighed, closing her eyes, "It's all my fault."

Minji was about to open her mouth but Rae held up a finger, indicating her not to interrupt her sentence. Minji slowly nodded, crossing her arms over her chest. "You know how Jihoon suddenly acted cold to you? That was my fault. I turned things around as he accepted my offer, I said to him I would only help if he went out with me and that's what caused you two to break apart."

"I told him to make you hate him so breaking up with you would be less painfully. Yes, I admit I was blind that I've hurt you two badly, I guess I could say I was blinded by love. I loved Jihoon so much that I couldn't see the way his mouth frowned whenever you walked past. I couldn't see the way his eyes became duller every day."

"The break up was all my fault. I hope you never doubted his feelings for you because all those were true, it truly came from the bottom of his heart. Those harsh words he said were just to make you hate him. I regret doing such horrible things to you two, I know you probably won't forgive me but at least I owned up to my wrong doings."

Minji felt her blood boil, throughout all this time, it was Rae behind Jihoon's weird acts. Confusion and anger flowed through her veins, she had the urge to slap the girl.

And she did.

"You heartless piece of⏤" Minji cut her sentence off with a groan, it was laced with pure anger. Tears rolled down Rae's cheeks, guilt washed her body as she stayed rooted to the ground.

"After all those⏤ You're just owning up now, huh!? Now that Jihoon and I became more distant you just owned up! Why didn't you⏤ You know what, forget it! I'm never going to forgive you for this." And with that, Minji walked away.

The girl headed for the roof top.

Everything felt quiet and peaceful, the gentle night breeze tickling her face. Minji wasn't going to cry, this wasn't worth crying for, it was all pure anger. There was no sign of sadness, it was anger.

Rae hastily wiped her tears, heading back to the noise-filled room. Over the crowd, she looked for Jihoon, he easily stood out with his blond hair.

She wasted no time and quickly approached him. "Jihoon, please go after Minji. I think she went to the rooftop and⏤" "Why? What happened to her!?" He cut her off, panick engulfing his body.

"I'll explain later but please just go after her." Rae quickly spoke, worry written all over her face.

The boy nodded, quickly leaving the room.

Little did he know, Woojin heard their conversation.

Jihoon quietly stepped foot on the rooftop, the first thing he saw was Minji's back view. Even from the back, she looked ethereal as ever. He noticed her shiver a bit as her dress exposed the arms.

He was about to take off his blazer until she spoke up, "Rae told me everything. She was the reason why you acted that way towards me, right?" Her voice was soft yet laced with anger.

So that's why Rae looked so off. Jihoon thought.

"Yes⏤" "Why didn't you do it?"

"What?" Jihoon tilted his head to the side. Minji turned around with an expressionless face. "You loved me, right? Why didn't you fight for our relationship?"

He slowly walked towards her, "Minji, you saw how hard it was for me to decide⏤" "Decide what Jihoon!? If you had accepted my offer then none of this would've happened!" She cut him off, her blood once again boiling.

But this time, it was worse.

"This basically proves me how easily you give up Jihoon! I fought for us, I gave you space when you needed it, I still remained nice towards you when you didn't for me, I blamed myself for your attitude when it was clearly your fault!"

"You made me in to a fool Jihoon! Tell me, do you love me?" Minji softly asked, gripping her dress. Jihoon looked at her eyes, "I do love you, Minji." He softly spoke.

She scoffed, "Then why didn't you fight for our relationship? This is where I'm confused, Jihoon. Why didn't you fight for us when you loved me?"

"It's complicated⏤" "No. It's not complicated! You could've just easily accepted my offer and⏤"

"Do you think I would want your parents thinking of me as a needy person!? I didn't want them to think badly of me, Minji! We were both at the start of our relationship, asking your girlfriend for money isn't something anyone should do!" He exclaimed, running his fingers through his blond hair.

"Who the fuck cares about what they think of you!? The only thing that mattered was that I loved you and that's that! I'm your girlfriend for a reason! I need to help you with your problems when you're in need, I'm not some kind of person you just go to when you need hugs and kisses! When I said I trusted you, I expected you to do good not to hide this whole thing behind my back and act like it's all my fault!" Minji talked back.

She wasn't having any of his crap reasons right now.

"I acted like a fool. I blamed myself for everything." Minji scoffed.

"Minji . ." A familiar voice behind Jihoon called out, it was Woojin.

The boy had followed Jihoon to the rooftop due to the suspicious conversation Jihoon had with Rae.

She was about to walk towards Woojin until something popped in her mind, she had the urge to ask Woojin whether he knew about the whole thing with Rae. Minji figured he was pretty close to Jihoon.

"Did you know about this too?" Minji asked, hoping that he would say no.

Woojin can't lie to me, right? She thought.
