"Minji!" Daehwi knew how much the girl needed space right now but with all the guilt inside him, it made him want to stay by her side and never leave. He pitied her.
The girl froze at her best friend's voice, she didn't know whether to stop walking or walk faster to her morning class but nonetheless, she slowed down her tracks.
She never meant to lash out that hard on Daehwi the other night, her feelings was bottled up for a long time and that night, everything exploded. Who wouldn't? She's been through a sudden break up with Jihoon and she found out that Jihoon, Woojin and Daehwi kept a secret from her. A secret she's supposed to know.
Who wouldn't be fed up?
After all, she became cautious about everythinf after her break up with Daniel. Who wouldn't have trust issues when finding out that your boyfriend only wanted you for attention?
Minji was just a girl with a broken heart.
She did her best to understand Jihoon's situation and respected his decision nor she didn't jump to conclusions after seeing Jihoon spend more time with Rae that was because Minji was still his girlfriend, she did everything she could to keep both of them from fighting.
Minji stayed silent and apologised about acting up when he declined her offer because she was his girlfriend.
Daehwi pulled Minji's hand, causing the girl to sharply turn and collide with him. He wrapped his arms around her, his pink lips forming a visible frown. Minji felt her eyes watering, her breath becoming uneven as tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Hey, hey . . don't cry." He pulled away, cupping her cheeks while wiping her tears with his thumb. "I'm okay." She gave him a faint smile before removing his hands on her face.
And with that, she walked away. More tears rolling down her cheeks, once again.

Jihoon silently groaned, unable to focus on his History revision. He took out the rose necklace from his pocket and stared at it. Jihoon knew he did some wrong doings yet shouldn't Minji at least understand his situation and where he's coming from?
It wasn't only her who had a taste of life's bitterness.
But seeing where Minji was coming from, he could understand why she lashed out like that. Getting hurt more than once isn't something someone can bottle up, they at least explode when it becomes too much.
Just like what happened to Minji.
After all, it hurts even more when your heart gets broken if it's already broken.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Nari asked while walking along the hallways with Minji. "I don't have the appetite." Minji faintly smiled, "I'll see you." She added before leaving Nari.
Nari watched as Minji slowly made her way upstairs, the girl shook her head before continuing her walk to the Cafeteria.
Nari joined the rest of her friends who were already sitting around a table. Jihoon was there yet Minji was the one who was missing this time, looks like destiny doesn't want them complete and all together.
The table was silent, Daehwi wasn't his usual beagle self, Jihoon remained staring at the rose necklace in between his fingers, Jinyoung quietly ate and Nari awkwardly played with her fingers.
The necklace somewhat brought back memories that were never made with it. To Jihoon, the necklace felt like a familiar face in a crowd full of unknown people, that sigh of relief upon finding a familiar face, that familiar song that brings back unknown memories while listening to it.
The necklace reminded him of Minji.
It was bittersweet because for him when it comes to Minji, it was either the sweet memories or the bitter ones.
Jihoon tried avoiding the bitter memories and remembered the sweet memories like the time when they became official, he felt like the luckiest man on earth for days on end.
It felt amazing, finally hearing the sweet 'yes' to his question especially when it's from your crush. No one can deny that.
Every time he thinks alot about the sweet memories, he gets too deep in them and suddenly remember the bitter memories. The one bitter memory he couldn't forget was the pure anger and sadness in her eyes while they broke up.
That was one bitter memory he could never forget.
It was indeed painful.

Lunch was finished meaning they had to go to their afternoon classes. Minji took one last glance at the place she always loved staying at.
The roof top.
Two unforgettable memories were made from there. One being a heart-breaking and the other a heart-fluttering one. It was bittersweet.
Minji walked to her History class, she eyed a table filled with snacks, it was where she normally sat at. Someone probably left their stuff behind. She thought. Minji walked passed it to find another seat.
"Uh, Minji. I'm pretty sure those are yours, it has your name on the sticky note." A classmate pointed to the desk-filled snacks, Minji turned around.
"Thanks for letting me know." She smiled before examining the bunny shaped sticky note, the colour being pastel pink. She also noticed that the person specifically only put her favourite snacks and food.

Since you didn't eat lunch today, here's some of your favourite food and snacks. Please don't starve yourself, it pains me when you're torturing yourself like this.
You better eat these hahaha or else I'll personally come up to you and make you eat them. Anyway as you already noticed a burger isn't here :( the school didn't have them today, sadly.
Also don't think too much about who wrote this letter, it doesn't matter. :)

The word after 'smile' was scribbled out, the only things she could make out from it was it started with a letter 'b' and it was surely a three letter word.
She wondered who could've given her these and how did the person know that she skipped lunch today?
Could this be someone she knew or not?
Minji turned to her classmate earlier, "Do you perhaps have an idea who left these here? or saw the person leaving them here?" She asked.
"The other students and I did . . but the person told us not to tell you who they are." He responded, shrugging.
"A secret admirer maybe?" He added.
