"Why are you crying?!" Daehwi panicked as he saw his best friend walking towards him, her face wet from the fallen tears. Of course, it has to be Jihoon. He thought to himself.
He clenched his hand before walking towards his friend, tightly hugging her. He needs a lesson, I won't tolerate any of this.
Jinyoung and Nari also rushed towards Minji, Nari grabbing her hand squeezing it tightly and Jinyoung feeling sorry for her as ever. "I'll be bac-" "No! Please, don't do anything to him. I'm begging you . ." Minji cried out, she was desperate.
She held on to the sleeve of his blazer, not letting it go. Daehwi shook his head, "No, Minji. This is the second time he's done that!" He harshly yanked his arm, walking away with big strides to find Jihoon.
Anger filled his body.
"I'll go after him. N-nari, stay with Minji." Jinyoung took one last glance at Minji before running after Daehwi.
Nari nodded before stroking Minji's hair, "I know it hurts, you can cry all you want. Don't worry it's going to get better, eventually." She eyed her friend with pity.
Though she was hurting herself, the reason was because of Jinyoung but that didn't matter right now. She could solve those by herself becausd what matters is that Minji needed comfort at the moment. "I'm just scared with what's going to happen between the two." Minji sighed.
Daehwi saw Jihoon coming back from the basketball courts, his head down. The boy's blood started to boil, he took big steps, grabbing Jihoon by the collar with both hands. "You f-" "What do you want!?" Jihoon tried getting Daehwi off him, he was shocked by his actions.
He knew Daehwi could be scary when angry but he never knew he'd show such a manly side, "What did you to do her!? I told you . . I told you if you make her cry, you're going to get it!" He retreated his fist back, ready to punch Jihoon.
Just in time, Jinyoung finally came, "Stop!" He yanked Daehwi off Jihoon by his blazer, "Don't touch me!" Daehwi struggled from Jinyoung's grip as he's got both hands in lock.
Jihoon looked at Daehwi, shocked. Unfortunately, the boy managed to release himself from Jinyoung's iron grip and didn't hesitate to send a hard punch straight to the boy's cheek.
He felt electricity flow through his arm as his fist collided with Jihoon's face. Jihoon stumbled back, his mind spinning. He took the hit pretty hard and it wasn't easy. "Daehwi!" Jinyoung yelled trying to get a hold of his friend.
"You liar! You shouldn't have asked her out in the first place if you're just going to do this to her!" He grabbed Jihoon's collar once again, "Have you ever thought about what she felt?" That was the exact same thing Minji asked Jihoon.
Jihoon pushed Daehwi off him, "You don't know what I'm going through!" And with that he attacked with a punch, sending Daehwi stumbling back to Jinyoung. Daehwi smirked, "Selfish now, aren't we?" He pushed himself off Jinyoung and walked up to the boy.
He was about to give another punch until Daniel saw the situation and decided to pull Jihoon away, blocking him. Daehwi scoffed, "I can't believe this. Now you two are friends? Woah, this is unbelievable." He placed his arm by his side.
Jihoon was taken back by Daniel's action. "You should talk to him properly. Using violence isn't the way to do it." Daniel ignored Daehwi's remark, staring at the boy ahead of him. "Look, you're not part of this so get the hell out." Daehwi sneered.
"Daehwi, let's leave." Jinyoung whispered from behind but the boy ignored it, having a stare down with Daniel. Daniel smirked, his eyes turning sharp, "And you are? Last time I checked this was only between Minji and Jihoon."
That made Daehwi silent, he was right but he wasn't going to let Jihoon step all over her.
"Let's go." Daniel glanced at Jihoon, patting his shoulders before leading the way.
"Why did you do that?" Jihoon coldly asked, staring at Daniel with a blank expression. The two walked out of the clinic after Jihoon got his wound treated. "Why wouldn't I? He was about to punch you." Daniel turned his head to face him, grinning.
"You should've let him be. I deserve it." He broke the eye contact, "You know, you should just be thankful I saved your pretty face from getting punched." Daniel sighed, walking off.
Jihoon didn't know why but that made him smile, no matter how much his cheek hurt.

"What happened to your face!?" Minji gasped as he saw Daehwi's grazed cheek, the boy looked down at his shoes. "He fought with Jihoon . ." Jinyoung sighed, glaring at Daehwi. Minji groaned, face palming.
"That doesn't matter right now, we need to get you fixed up." She shook her head, grabbing Daehwi and leading him to the clinic.
She stopped her tracks as she saw Jihoon standing near the door softly smiling at himself despite the wound he has got. Jihoon caught himself staring right back but as he glanced behind her, Daehwi was there, glaring.
The boy diverted his attention from the two, slowly walking away the opposite direction. Minji shook her head and continued to walk towards the clinic, "Next time, please hold your anger. I can handle him." She looked back at the boy who was already staring at her.
Daehwi shrugged.
No more feelings, no more being played. Minji thought to herself as she took one last glance at Jihoon's back.
