What if you're crying somewhere?

Minji stiffly sat on the black leathered couch as her father paced back and forth, sighing every now and then. "I told you to stop hanging out with that boy! Can't you see how worried I am about your education?" He broke the heavy silence engulfing the living room.

She gripped the hem of her skirt, "He's a friend. He isn't a distraction." When will her father realize that?

"You've said the same thing about Daniel last year and what happened? You failed your History exam." Minji hated it. She hated it whenever he brought up her wrong doings, he didn't have to rub it in her face.

Failure is the mother of success, you can learn from failure. So why isn't he telling her that instead? Upon hearing his reply, Minji feels like a complete disappointment. It's like he focuses on her failure rather than her success.

Heck, she doubts Mr. Kim even remembers her being an all round student back when she was a freshman.

Does he not trust Minji that she'll do good in her History exam? "I did but can't I learn from my mistakes?" She asked, looking up at him.

"'Worried about my education', do you not trust your own daughter that she'll do well on her exam after locking her self up in her room for god knows how many weeks straight?" Minji continued, she stood up from her seat, eyeing her father.

She felt stressed about going over this issue again and again.

"Jihoon did nothing wrong to yo-" "Give me your phone." Mr. Kim sternly ordered. She stared at him for a while, Minji didn't want to give her phone.

"I said give me your phone! And you're grounded." He held out his palm, waiting for his daughter to hand over the device.

As Minji reached for her pocket, her head started spinning and the next thing she knew, she had blacked out. Her parents' frantic calls made no difference, she still was on the ground, unconscious.

"Her blood pressure has drastically dropped causing her to become briefly unconscious. We are not sure what caused her blood pressure to drop that low but we have come to a theory that she might've experienced emotional stress. Has she been very stressed out lately?" The doctor asked Minji's parents.

Mr. Kim slowly nodded, "She's been in her room, studying for her exams non-stop." He only listed about her studying, he didn't want to tell the doctor that Minji was in a recent break up with someone, it wasn't necessary.

"Once she wakes up soon, please advise her to take breaks in between the studying. Studying with out breaks can be bad for one's health especially for the young ones, they can experience a lot of emotional stress due to this. Also, make sure she eats a lot, her blood pressure is still low. If you'll excuse me, I'll be right back." And with that, the doctor had left the room.
