Minji was in a state of shock, "What . ." She was trying to figure out why he acted like that, she was pretty sure his father's situation didn't turn him that different.

She ran her fingers through her hair, Minji didn't know why but her hands were trembling. "Maybe he's just really stressed." She sighed and made her way to the Cafeteria.

As she entered the Cafeteria, Minji immediately spotted her group of friends, what confused her was Jihoon acted so differently around them from the way he acted towards her. Minji sighed once again as she walked up to their table and took a seat in between Daehwi and and Nari.

"You should get your food." Daehwi nudged her side, Minji shook her head, "I don't feel like eating." And with that, she pulled her phone out from her blazer pocket and scrolled through social media.

I should give him some space.

But what if he needs me?

Thoughts filled her mind making her even more confused as to what she needs to do, "H-hey how's your dad? Rae's been helping you with the payment right?" She turned off her phone and looked across to Jihoon who was ahead of her.

"He's fine and yeah, she's been a great company." He replied, his voice uninterested and flat.

That wasn't the answer I was looking for but okay. She thought.

"Ah, that's great . ." Minji nodded, the air somewhat turned a little dull ever since Jihoon spoke with that tone, Nari cleared her throat, "That's great! I want to visit Mr.Park sometime." She enthusiastically spoke.

"Sure thing." Jihoon brightly smiled.

Why is he acting so different when I talk to him? What's wrong with him. Minji thought.

Break finally finished meaning they had to go to their next classes, as the group walked along the hallways, Minji pulled Jihoon by the hand leaving them behind.

"We need to talk." She spoke, the awkward air was still lingering between them, Minji hated it.

"Talk about what? There's nothing to talk about. I'm going to be late to my cla-" "Why are you acting this way?" She cut his sentence off, it was honestly frustrating her.

This was like with Daniel all over again, Daniel suddenly became cold out of nowhere and now that's what happened to Jihoon too.

Jihoon chuckled, "I'm not doing anything, why are you so affected?" "Because I'm your girlfriend Jihoon! You're acting so strange lately and I'm worried, this reminds me of what happened between Daniel and I." She sighed.

"Oh, so you're comparing me with that person." He always hated being compared to Daniel ever since he started high school, just because Daniel was first at everything and Jihoon was just the second.

He would always hear sayings amongst the students that he was the second Daniel.

Jihoon hated it.

"That person has a name and I'm not comparing you to him, I know how much you hate it. What I'm saying is that I don't want to happen what happened between Daniel and I." Minji pointed out which made Jihoon even more annoyed, "So you think, I'd do that to you? You think I'd play around with your feelings like that just because I'm acting weird? Isn't that a bit too low?" He scoffed.

Minji lowered her head, embarrassed. "You're right, I'm sorry. I was just paranoid."

Jihoon's gaze softened for a little while but returned to it's cold state as she looked up again, "Don't assume such things." The boy left, once again leaving her by herself.

Minji sighed, "I was over thinking it." She face palmed, she felt small and embarrassed upon what she had done, she clearly was the cause of their stupid fight, it was her fault.

From across the hallway was Rae snickering as she witnessed the two fight, "Not so much sweet now is he?" Rae evilly chuckled to herself before pushing herself off the metallic locker and going to class.

You're doing great, Jihoon.

"Why are you here?" Minji questioned as she was the last one to walk out of the room only to find Woojin standing next to the door, the boy shrugged, "To walk you home, I'm skipping basketball prac."

Minji eyed him, "I've got Daehwi and my friends to walk with, no need. Thanks though." She brushed passed him and properly wore her back on her back, "Oh, I told your friends I've got you, heh . ." Woojin scratched his head.

The girl sighed, "Alright, you comin'?" She gave him a glance before walking ahead, he called after her and jogged to catch up to Minji's pace.

You owe me one, not that I'm complaining though. Woojin thought to himself.

"Anyway, are you sure you need to skip your practice just to drop me off?" Minji snorted causing Woojin to roll his eyes, "Be grateful that I care about you." She laughed, "Wow, never knew that."

"Well get used to it, idiot." He huffed, he could feel his ears burning.

The two walked out of the gates, most of the students already left, some that remained were still waiting for their ride to pick them up. "Anyway, have you noticed something weird about Jihoon's behavior?" Minji turned to him.

"N-no! Not at all, why?" He replied, avoiding her eyes.

"Nothing," Minji shook her head and looked down at her shoes.

I'm sorry, Minji.
