With everyone's arguing over us and the new girl, she had gotten out a Tanta. Mikito reacted first with her movement and got out her Katana blade to match hers. I reached behind me with both hands to pull out two smaller bo staff halves.

It was time to see if Donnie's touch up of the staff would work. As Mikito kept Karai busy, Leo ordered the rest of the mutants to charge forward. Mikey and Raph moved in front of me. With a huff and growl, I stepped back, spinning the right half in my hand.

"We don't have time for this, Karai," Leo growled as he pushed the human back.

Karai stepped to the side. I watched her as she looked at each of us. She knew she was out matched with six against one. Hopefully it wasn't obvious that Mikito and I weren't trained, though. Else we would be the first targets and be at the mercy of her. That and I would rather not be a damsel in distress. It was an annoying title...

The girl looked at each of us carefully while stepping to the side again. "Why not? Can't have a friendly fight?"

"Not while we're trying to stop an alien invasion!" Leo snapped.

She paused in her step. It was a good thing too because I was gonna lunge at her if she took another one. "What? An alien invasion?" Karai stood straight and set one hand on her hip. "Are you serious?"

"Like we'd make something up as crazy as-" Raph started. A large boom made him stop in his snarky come back.

Turning around, all of us looked back at TCRI. A large door on the top of the building was beginning to open. A glowing light seeped through but was covered up by a oval U.F.O. that had an eye-like front.

"What's that?" Mikito squeaked. She made her way toward me. I simply frowned and grit my teeth. My staff halves found their place in my belt again.

"I need to change my shell," Mikey whimpered.

Mikey, Mikito, and I each took a few steps back from the edge of the roof. Karai took a few forward to be by Leo. "Any plan on taking that thing down?" She asked him.

Leo gave a confident smile, "Just one." He quickly turned to us with a fearful look. Nobody had to tell me what that meant! As he said "Run!" I had turned tail and bolted from the roof top.

Mikito was right begind me as we each scaled a few roof tops. A bolt of purple that I could only assume came from the ship blasted behind and to the side of me. I had to push Mikey and Mikito to the side so none of us got blasted. The three of us tumbled into a fire escape at the end of the roof. Somehow Mikey landed on me.

Pushing him off, I saw the others jump down. Rather scared, I quickly helped the two to their feet. I grabbed the railing and swung myself to the other side where I slid down the metal and then jumped to the ally below. Thankfully Mikey and Mikito were close behind. Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Karai were ahead, looking behind them in the sky.

That most likely meant that the ship wasn't far from Mikey, Mikito, and I. This was a wonderful way to die. At least I supposed so... Maybe quick?

"Naomi!" I stopped as a voice yelled at me. I saw Leo and Raph hiding behind a car. "Over here!" Charging towered them, I did a dive roll. I stopped myself in front of them.

Leo had a small smile while Raph as slightly nodding as if I had done something right. I rolled my eyes and got between them to hide. Boys... A girl can't do much of anything anymore without feeling she was being watched.

"Do you think they know where we are?" Donnie's voice popped in from the side of the car. Looking over, Karai was hiding too.

Leo heaved a breath, "Yeah, maybe..."

It was a few minutes of silence before the car lifted from the ship's tentacles. I growled and rolled out of the way while the boys screamed in terror. They rolled out of the way just in time for the car to fall back to the ground where we are just hiding.

"Get underground!" Leo ordered us. "I'll draw it's fire!" He unsheathed his sword as he took off toward the next ally in line.

Mikito and Mikey caught up with us. Mikey's eyes were wide, "You all could have been crushed down to soup!"

"Shut up, Mikey," Raph growled as they went to the nearest manhole cover.

Mikito opened it and they all jumped in. I paused before jumping down after. Karai had disappeared between the car pick up and smash. Although I didn't know the chick, I hoped she didn't get squashed. Would be upsetting to say the least. Still wanted to whack her with my staff at least once.

I jumped down into the sewers and grunted as I landed. I fell on my butt as I fell a bit hard. A hand reached out to help me up. Taking it, I stood up and bridged myself off.

"You're welcome," Raph's voice answered the silence. He sounded disappointed. I shrugged and moved out of the way. He scoffed and turned to a nearby drain to look out of.

Leo jumped down followed by Mikito quickly after. She fell as well and I helped her up. Her smile brought one to my face. Glad she was okay. We turned to look out of the rain drainage as well.

The ship floated for a moment, turning itself around in a full three sixty. It then shot out a purple scanning device. That was new... I didn't like it. Apparently it didn't scan anything and it disappeared?!

"What kind of sick joke is that?" I exclaimed.

Raph growled lowly, "'Cause it wasn't scary enough when we could actually see it."

"So now we have an invisible Kraang ship flying around New York with no means of tracking it," Mikito whimpered.

"We're gonna turn into turtle tots!" Mikey covered his mouth. He paused and licked his lips. "Tater tots sounds good right now, actually."

I rolled my eyes and turned away from the drainage to head back home. Donnie had already started heading back. He probably had somthing in mind to track that ship. With a small flick of my tail, I trailed after him. Maybe he needed help with whatever? A ship wasn't going to tack itself after all.
