Another day of silence. Except the usual training, screams, pinball game, TV going off, and music down the hall it was pretty quiet. It was actually almost blissful. So much so that the following day I decided to start a Space Heroes binge. Mikito had found the last VHS for it hidden away in Mikey's room. Why it was in there, or the reason why she went in there, was beyond me. I've seen glimpses of his room passing by it when the door was open and it was simply a nightmare. I'm honestly not sure how my brother has lived in that room.

So here I was with the last season of Space Heroes right in front of the TV and VHS player. Once again I had to switch out the DVD player for it since the girls finished up their Jerry Patter movies yesterday. They were heartbroken yet very happy with the ending. Why I had no idea. Still don't. Space Heroes had my full attention right now.

Everything was correctly put into place. Great! Now to put the VHS in the player and start the episode. As soon as it started I scooted backwards away from the screen. Cross legged in front of the TV I was deeply involved with this last episode. I didn't know if Mikito wanted to come watch it with me and I wasn't about to pause to find out.

The climax of the episode was coming into fruition. I could feel myself leaning closer to the TV. Just as Captain Ryan announced that he was indeed going down with his ship. I took a deep breath in and sighed to myself, "What a hero…" A great role model for myself. Or at least I try to be. Seems everything is making that plan impossible. When suddenly the TV turned off.

I looked around a moment frantically. Where was the remote? I had it earlier didn't I? A throat clear had me stop and look behind me and up. Donnie had the remote. "What are you doing? That was the final episode of Space Heroes!"

"You watched it without me?!" I heard a squeak from the dojo. A pink bandanna covered head popped into the corner of my vision as Donnie and I had a slight stare down.

My brother did not look amused. "This is a little more important," he huffed. With that he dropped the remote and turned to his lab. I saw Julie with her head poking out of the lab curiously before disappearing right back in as Donnie approached the door.

Taking a deep breath in then out again I went and gathered up the rest of the team. Raph was on the bean bag chair with Spike reading a comic book. Mikey and Mikito were already heading to the lab from the dojo. That left only Naomi. It didn't take much to pinpoint her; music was echoing from the girls' room. I went and knocked on the door. There was a moment of nothing, then the music turning off, then the door opening a crack. Finally she looked at me with her bright blue eyes.

"We're needed in the lab," I told her. "Donnie says he's got something important."

She nodded and opened the door the rest of the way. The lizard passed me without anything more said or done. I watched her in concern and confusion. Since she's been back from helping Donnie with getting Mr. O'Neil back she's been different. A lot more quiet and reserved. I thought it was because she was once again hurt. Couldn't do much of anything again. Either way I followed her to the lab. Everyone else was already gathered, including April. Guess she was already in here before Donnie came and got me and the others.

I came around the desk to join my brother. He was sitting in his computer chair, so I believed it had to do something with the tech. "All right, Donnie, what's this about?"

"The communication orb went off a few minutes ago," Donnie explained. I looked at the orb and it was sitting on a pedestal that had the wires coming from it instead of the orb itself. How he managed to get messages off that thing was beyond me. My purple masked brother continued anyway, "So me, April, and Julie have been going through it. Look what we translated."
