Annabeths Step-Mom hated Annabeth because she was something she would never be,smart,nice and a demigod.So she made Annabeth feel like nothing for her own satisfaction.But when Annabeths life was on the line when she was 14,her Step-Mom finally decided to change and be nice to her.They now have a strong bond.But Athena hates Annabeths Step-Mom just out of jealously.
