It was a successful day indeed! I smiled to myself habang nagda-drive pauwi.

Natutuwa ako dahil kahit na hindi mawala sa isip ko si Max, patuloy ko pa rin natutupad ang mga plano ko for myself. Naisip ko na maybe I should just let myself be curious about him. After all, hindi naman na niya ako kilala and naalala so it wouldn't hurt right? Besides iiwas na rin naman ako sakanya. I won't see him ever again. Ever.

I wouldn't even let myself be close to him.

I texted my friends para sana ayain sila lumabas to eat because I wanted to celebrate. But all of them were busy.. lahat kasi kami may work na.

Jane is now an interior designer of a big company, Vee is an artist and she works a lot sa studio niya. While Cassie..

"Hello?" She said when she answered the phone. I called her agad because Jane and Vee were both busy. Sinabi nila saakin na bukas nalang daw talaga sila babawi.

"Let's eat out!" Sabi ko sakanya. "I got the job!!"

"Oh my gosh! I'm so happy for you but wait.. Huhu, I can't go out today. I mean gusto ko pero huhu I'm in pain. Pwede bang bumawi nalang bukas?" Sabi niya sa kabilang line at halatang may sakit siya. She's not the type to decline any gala, especially if it's my celebration.

"Why what happened to you?" I asked worriedly.

"Wala," she replied. "I'm just sick.."

"Do you need help? I can go there to your house.."

Cassie is now a successful business woman. Alam ko she's planning to start her own clothing line soon pero for now she's focused on her family's business. Kung ang family business namin ay sa stocks, sakanila alam ko ay mga liquors.

"No need. You had a rough day.. I can manage. By the way, congratulations! I'll bawi tomorrow I promise.." sabi niya. Tumawa naman ako.

"Are you sure?" I asked again.

"Yes.. promise. I'll bawi tomorrow, ako na manlilibre.." she said.

I laughed. "Alright. Take care of yourself, okay? Drink meds and rest first," I said. She lives alone but I know she can handle herself, kahit na wala na rin siyang boyfriend for a few years now. I don't know what happened after Lloyd dahil hindi na siya nagkwe-kwento. Maybe I'll ask her soon.

Binaba ko ang phone at narating na ang apartment namin. When I entered the room, Red was sitting in front of the door fixing his shoes. He's wearing a black shirt and corduroy shorts at mukhang he's getting ready to go outside.

He looked at me when I got in. He looks so puzzled and I don't even know why.

"What's the best thing to give someone who's in pain? Like.. dysmenorrhea?" He asked. Medyo pawis siya. Nakita kong may hawak hawak siyang soup sa kabilang kamay.

"Uh.. hot soup? Pain relievers? Chocolates?" I answered.

He nodded at saka tumayo. Inayos niya ang buhok niya. He looks super stressed at parang nagma-madali.

"Would that remove the pain?" he asked again.

I give him a questioning look. For what?

"No, but it will help ease it," sabi ko.

He nodded in reply at saka tumahimik na parang nag-iisip. I just looked at him dahil nagtataka ako sa actions niya lately. He looks like he's taking care of his girlfriend.
