Angkong's Arrival

I rolled over on my bed while remembering everything that happened last night. I just woke up and yet I'm smiling like an idiot already! Grabe, I'm so happy and it scares me. I feel like happiness is a crime. Once you get too happy, something will happen.. something that will take all the happiness away.

But with Max, wala. I can't think of any reasons that will break us apart. Siguro if I push him away.. but why would I do that? Kung meron samin hindi deserving.. ako yun. So why would I push him away?

I came back to my senses when my phone vibrated. My heart anticipated, knowing that it's a text from someone... someone that can make my heart beat this fast.

From Max:

Good morning beautiful. I have a busy day ahead, and I know you do too. Don't forget to eat breakfast before going to school.. :)

Ngumiti ako at nag-reply sakanya.

Ako:

Good morning! Okay :P. Make sure you are free later tonight okay? Kahit mga 8 or 9 since 7 tapos ng class ko. :)

After I press the send button, napa-sandal ako habang ngumingiti sa sarili ko. I have finally decided, and I will say Yes to Max ngayon. I'm also planning to surprise him. Even though simple lang yung akin, I know he will appreciate it. Sa building namin, there's a rooftop wherein you can go star-gazing because sobrang taas nito... so like him, gagamitin ko din ang rooftop.

I love star-gazing and he knows that. I love real and deep talks while staring at the starry night sky. This will be perfect moment to tell him everything that I feel.. and the perfect moment to tell him how much he means to me.

I'm good with words, but sometimes I can't help but wonder if words would be enough to suffice the amount of emotions you feel for a certain person. Last night, I wrote him a letter and it contains all my feelings & realizations about us and I'm going to read it in front of him later tonight.

I always feel like no matter how hard I try to write for him, it will never be enough.

I finished getting ready after an hour since buong day lang naman ata ako nasa school. I did not disturb Max anymore because naalala ko they are finalizing everything today since later tonight ang uwi ng Angkong niya from China and tomorrow ang party. I'm sure he's busy right now pati narin ang whole family niya.

I think the day after tomorrow ang party nila sa Shangri-La Hotel for his Angkong. He's inviting me pero hindi ko pa nasasabi sakanya ang sagot ko since natatakot ako baka ma-intimidate nanaman ako!

An hour before my class, umalis na ako ng house. I'm with Red now and we're about to have breakfast before he drops me sa school.

"What do you think about... me dating?"

Nanlaki ang mata ko when Red suddenly asked me a shocking question. I looked at him and I rolled my eyes.

"Hilarious.." I answered.

"Whaaaat?" He said habang tumatawa.

"Are you hearing yourself?" I asked. Tumawa nanaman siya at umiling lang sakin.

"I'm serious, Ria.." he said while smiling.

"Good for you then! When can I meet her?" I asked sarcastically because hindi talaga ako naniniwala. This guy is a manwhore everyone! Hindi siya katulad ng mga lalake diyan na playboy pero naayos ng ibang babae lalo na if seryoso sila.
