I'm not your secretary!

"Ms. Adelson!" Lumabas galing sa elevator si Ms. Jessica pagkapasok na pagkapasok ni Mr. Limjuaco sa office niya, shutting the door behind him. Medyo malakas ang pag-sara kaya naman napatingin kami pareho sa pinto. What's his problem?

Napatingin ako kay Ms. Jessica na sumilip sa office ni Mr. Limjuaco. Nang makita na nakatingin ako sakanya, bigla siya umayos ng tayo.

"He's really cold noh? Will you be okay here? Just don't talk to him nalang!"

Tumango ako. I wanted to tell her na hindi siya ganito sakin dati in fact he's very sweet and caring but I stopped myself. That was 5 years ago, Ria.

Ms. Jessica cleared her throat at saka lumapit sa table ko.

"Here are the reports of the sales within the past few months. You have to review this and make a report about it in the sales development meeting. This will be your first assignment," she said at saka inexplain sakin ang mga gagawin ko.

"You have to analyze it well, line by line. This is very crucial to the company that's why the board of directors and the CEO would be there in the meeting. We have to put our sales up especially when it comes to our hotels. We have to keep our 5-star rating," she explained.

Inabot niya saakin ang pile of folders and envelopes. I nodded at tinago sa mukha ang pagkabigla sa nakitang workload. Can I finish this all?!

"Good luck! Don't mind the accounting part diyan. Our CPAs already took care of it. Focus more on the qualitative information. Don't worry you have 3 days to prepare for the meeting. You can do it!" She said while giving me a thumbs up. "We are all expecting big of you!"

Ngumiti naman ako even though deep inside I'm already panicking. I really hate it when people expect me to do great. For me nakaka-pressure iyon.

"Thank you Ms. Jessica. I will do my best."

Tumingin siya sa office ni Mr. Limjuaco ulit. Binalik niya ang tingin niya sakin and she signaled me to come closer. Lumapit naman ako.

"Whatever you do, don't fall in love with him! Don't ever seduce him or flirt with him even if he flirts back, alright! Kung ayaw mo mawalan ng trabaho!" She whispered in a low voice habang chinecheck if the CEO is looking at us.

"H-hindi po noh! I have no intention of doing that," sabi ko naman. Mas nilapit pa niya ako sakanya.

"They say he flirted with his secretaries back then but the next morning inaalis niya sila sa trabaho! I don't know if it's because ayaw niya malaman ng fiancè niya and it might cause an issue sa family nila."

Nanlaki ang mata ko. Is this true?! He went too far! Sino siya para paglaruan ang mga babae? Tapos ang sasabihin niya kay Chairman nagiging stalker and such? What the heck!

"May fiancé siya?" I asked. I looked over to Max's direction and saw that he's still busy reading something from his laptop.

"Oo, yung nasa China daw. But I don't know, I'm not sure! Sabi nila meron daw. Basta! Just be careful okay? I'll go now."

"Sige po. For the record, I'm not his secretary po. I'm a business writer," I cleared.

"Mas mabuti na yung sure okay! It's better for you to know that he might look like a bachelor but he's not!"

Ngumiti siya at saka lumakad na papalayo. She waved at me at saka sumarado ang elevator.

I sighed habang dahan dahang nilalapag ang mga gamit ko sa table. Tumingin ako sa door papasok sa office ni Mr. CEO na mukhang entrance ng hotel. I looked around at nakitang glass walls lang ang nagpapahiwalay samin. Kitang kita ko pa rin siya dito sa labas and he's busy reading something sa laptop niya.
