Chapter 12: Meeting New Family

(Lily's POV)

Everyone was staring for different reasons. Carmen and Eleazar were staring because they couldn't believe I was here. Tanya was staring because she was shocked at the sight of me in general. Irina and Kate were staring because they were shocked by me and Tanya's outburst. The Cullen's were staring because of Tanya's outburst. And I was mostly what everyone was staring at. I could feel tears start to well up in my eyes. I didn't enjoy all the staring. I ended up crying. That made almost everyone stare even more. Edward picked me up and hugged me close. I cried into his chest. Esme came over and patted me on the back.

"Calm down Lily. It's okay." It took a bit of trying but I managed to calm down.

"Perhaps we should all sit and talk this out." Everyone nodded and we went to the living room to sit. I sat on Edward's lap. Tanya looked perplexed by the situation. I didn't leave any room for her to sit by us by having Edward sit in the single seat. I also kept my arms in a tight death grip around his neck. Jasper chuckled at my position knowing exactly why I was doing this.

"So Carlisle, how did your family end up with the Princess?"

"My name is Lily now Eleazar."

"My apologies Princess. How did you end up with Princess Lily?"

"She is the mate of our Edward here."

"That's impossible!" We all looked at Tanya. "She is obviously too young as well as the fact that she is a Volturi! There is no way that this is not a trap!" I could feel the angry tears well up in my eyes. Jasper looked at me like he was worried but not for me. He looked like he was worried for whoever I was angry at. And he should be but I will be merciful.

"Shut your fucking mouth you filthy whore! Who are you, someone who casually fucks humans, to say that I'm too young or that this is just a set up! If great grandpa Aro had his way, you and the rest of the Cullen's would not know of my existence! I love Edward! He is the first one I have ever had feelings like this for. He is my entire universe. He makes my slow heart flutter in excitement of him being near me. You have no right to say such things let alone think such things about me! You don't even know me!" By then everyone was staring at me again. This time, I closed my eyes and made myself teleport out of the room. I didn't care about where I ended up. I just wanted to disappear. When I opened my eyes, I was on the reservation and coincidentally behind Jacob Black, Sam Uley's cousin. "Hi Jacob." I said with a hiccup. He jumped at first but soon realized it was me.

"Hi Lily. What's wrong? You've been crying."

"I met our extended family today and one of them said some mean things about me. She's way older than me so she's being immature but I yelled at her. So I know I'm wrong for how I handled that situation but it really bothered me how she can just talk to me that way. So I kinda ran off." He looked shocked but then composed his face.

"I see. Well, that will be meaning we'll have to call chief Swan again." I looked up at him with my puppy dog face hoping he wouldn't call him. "Well, maybe not immediately. But you can't run away. Think of how sad your parents would be."

"I don't know my birth parents. They abandoned me."

"Bella told me you were the doctors biological niece?"

"I am, sort of. They abandoned me when I was a baby so I don't know them. Carlisle only knew of me because he knew my mom was pregnant. A DNA test proved I was related to him. When Carlisle found me, my foster family gave me to him because he is my relative. But they still want to see me every now and again. But all that is beside the point." He agreed.
