Future

Larrisa POV

The Earth king sprung from the ground, dirt and rocks flying everywhere. Encased in a large rock formation, fifty feet high. Angel kept into action blocking his first attack to the group.
"Excalibur lend me your power once more!" He called to the blade and swiftly swiped a lock of his golden hair from the loose pony tail he kept, the strands of hair looked like they were eaten by the sword as it spoke back to him!
"Kya!! Anything for you Arthur!" The blade shifted in size and material looking to be steel and met with the rock fist stopping it from crushing over us.
"Sh-Shura, get the children to safety!" His voice shook with the strain of weight being placed on him.
Mephisto pulled away from her scooting her towards us; not without stealing a little pat on her butt as he sent her off.
"Hey!" She looked at us and knew we wouldn't back down, besides this was my fault for creating this. He just feels alone, and hurt like something is missing from him. And I know better than anyone how it feels, if I had to feel that way again, I think I'd go insane. "Yeah right Baldy! You just wanna take all the glory, ya ain't the only one with a big sword!" She turned back to them pulling out her sword, "Kirigakure-style, snake belly!" The sword grew in size being streaked with a drop of her blood, "Serpent fang!" A blast of sharp wind blew the rock figure back, only they were swiped at by his other hand! Rin unsheathed his sword lighting up in brilliant blue flames taking yelling charge up on the swiping hand landing on the rock arm and ran up and up to his face taking a swing; only in a quick flash was snapped in the rock monsters jaws.

"RIN!!" Yukio screamed switching out his gun from his side and took aim, "Spit him out Amaimon!!"
And as told spit out the still flaming Okumura drenched in some kind of stinking saliva? He coughed as his body slammed to the ground in a sloshy puddle.
"It burns! What is this stuff!?"
"Rin get back here!" Yukio demanded, "Larrisa we need you to calm him down somehow, tell him you just want to talk or something."
"Uhm... I don't know how!" I mumbled standing behind everyone as Rin tried making his way back without getting crushed. Shiemi went to work quickly with her familiar treating his burns. 

"Hey clown! You gonna get in on this! He's yer brother!" Shura growled seeing Mephisto observe from a bit of the sideline.
"I thought I let you both get some anger out for the trouble he's caused you both. But if you've had your fill." He perked up taking a step behind them and in front of the class.
The ground quivered again the snapping of trees off in the distance the Earth itself roared as it began breaking apart.
"Amaimon!!" Mephisto's voice sounded deep and serious enough to make a snake freeze in place, "Enough little brother! I'll have you locked away for eternities on no end! You stop this tantrum right now, there are more efficient ways of going about things."
The ground moaned as if it was in pain the large rock monster crouched to it's knees looking to be cracking apart as well.
"I, can't..." a whisper washed through the wind and leafs.
"Don't be difficult." A growl hitched though Mephisto's voice a glowing circle appeared under the rock monster.
He was calmer now, faced with his brother's wrath it seemed to snap him back to some kind of reality.
"Nii." Shiemi's little familiar floated up to my side sprouting out a rose. Now was my time, I have to talk to him or who knows what would happen to him.
Taking the rose being careful not to scratch myself with the thorns I ran up next to Mephisto holding it out in front of me.
"Amaimon! I want to talk with you!"
A thunder roared as a wave of the earth dropped and the rock figure began to crumble into boulders and stones raining down and dropping into the dirt around us. Amaimon stood in the giant monsters place, his arms larger dawned with thicker sharper claws, a long green lizard like tail and horns on his head. He panted heavily as his blue eyes streamed tears down his face but his mouth grit into an angry fanged frown and his entire body shivered.
"Amaimon, I'm sorry for making you feel this way, lost and alone. I broke your trust by just pushing you away like this, so fast and expecting it not to hurt you at all because I thought... I don't know I thought you wouldn't really care, but I was wrong! And I'm so glad I was. And I was caught up in chasing things that shouldn't affect my decisions of my future."
His head titled, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I'm sorry for making you feel that you'd only slow me down. You were truly what kept me going!"        
"I-I was? When did you decide this? You wanted to get rid of me, I'm too much trouble, being a demon."
"I grew up with demons, Max has been my best and only friend in years. Time flew past me so quickly, I didn't have time to comprehend and realize all of what happened."
His tail curled around his ankles as he looked down, "You said it would be better if-"
"Well I was wrong! Look, I'm sorry and I don't think it would be better without you! Now my main quest of my life is over and I have no idea what to do or where to go from here, but I do know that, I want you to be there with me and help me figure it out."
Amaimon's tail began to wag slowly and his pout turned into a smile, "Really? You think that?"
"Yes! Of course! Don't be such a baby! Stop all this earth quaking and come be with me. Please?"
The ground settled, and the vibrations stopped as he walked closer and bowed his head to his brother, "I- I'm in big trouble here aren't I?"
"Indeed and this isn't little China. When we get back to the academy you'll be on full time construction duty."
"You're letting him stay!?" Angel growled sheathing the sword.
"Oh are you suggesting we separate the only one keeping the entire world stable from being broken in half like a broken heart of a demon?"
"Larrisa do you know what you have gotten yourself into?!" He yelled at me.
"Yes I do." I nodded, "Amaimon is a big responsibility to love, but I do love him, and I'm no stranger to responsibility. He'll have plenty if he's going to stay with me." I smiled back at him taking his thick green arm in mine, "Is this your natural demon form? It's cute."

"Well now it seems we're a bit of a family now aye Angel?" Mephisto smirked instinctively bringing his arm around Shura again.
Angel didn't appear too happy to the statement but at least carried enough about mine that he wouldn't try to break anything apart, "I'm sure all the transportation will be down. We'll have to find another way home."
"We can ride Mephisto all the way back." Shura purred leaning into Mephisto with a smile.
"Oh clever girl!" He laughed, "You're jokes always make me smile.~"

When we arrived back at the Academy, everything in ruin the ground split and in shambles, Mephisto put Amaimon to work right away in fixing things. The cram class had to help too now that demons could get through the barriers that had been broken due to the earthquake. There was news of even rocks falling. From they sky and creating epic waves that flooded some of the land. Amaimon was in a lot of trouble from Mephisto, and even Rin and Yukio had a hand in his punishment. But when he was free as they would let him have a moment, he spent it with me. We finally watched the movie 'Lilo & Stitch' and he absolutely loved it. Although I blame it for giving him the idea to wear my bra's as a hat now! Bon admitted to feeling a bit disappointed, but we remained good and very close friends after all. When I move back to America and get back to my little farm, I'll have one huge story to tell, and I'd be so different from when I left. I'm looking forward to every minute of the future!
