My advisor said we should go ahead and fill out and turn in my intent to graduate form.
I just dropped it by the Admissions Office.
This one piece of paper makes everything feel real. Like, I'm actually graduating and transferring in 9 months.

It's... I don't know how I feel.
Am I excited? Am I looking forward to this? Do I feel motivated? Sure.
But I'm leaving my family in 9 months...and that fact is like a chunk of lead in my stomach. How is my six year old sister gonna take it when I break the news to her? When should I break the news to her? Will she be okay?
Is my mom going to be okay? Will she stay strong with my sister or will they weep together? Will mom help me? How long will they grieve my absence?
Will I be okay?
Going to university out of state is a choice I'm making. Nobody forced this decision on me. How will I handle the guilt of knowing that I willingly left my mom, my sister, my grandma?
My original plans for when I leave sorta changed. Which is fine I guess, but now I'm really going to be leaving home to a new place all alone. I won't have anybody but myself and my mom over the phone. I'll admit it. It's scary.
I don't know which emotion rules over the other. Am I more happy or am I more sad. I'm giving up my family to follow my dream. That's what this is in the harshest of terms.
But I'm excited to venture out. I'm glad I'm getting out of my house because the longer I stay there, the more me and my mom will fight. My expectation is that the distance will help us improve our relationship.
(Aish! I was crying so much after that last paragraph that I had to call my mommy. 😔)
I dunno. I hope everything will turn out okay...
On a less depressing note, BT21 is on Snow or whatever. I have been hell-bent on NOT getting Snow cause filters creep me out (still do)
