Chapter 7- Carnival Of The Goblin Part 2

Spider-Man and Venus Deterzo continued on the rails inside the haunted house while avoiding excess gas being gusted from pipes. Finally the two made it the end where they found a room where the ceiling was the floor and the floor was the ceiling. That stunned Spider-Man and Venus until suddenly some green gas blew into their faces as they both fell on the floor ceiling. The gas made Spider-Man and Venus a little disoriented as a couple thugs came over to them. They could hear the Goblin laughing. Spider-Man and Venus then began to fight against the thugs while they felt complete dizziness. Spider-Man did a horizontal spin kick on a brutish thug's face and then did a sweep kick on another thug wearing an eyepatch. Venus used the chain as whip as she coiled it around a thug's legs and spun him around the air hitting the other thugs that came to her. One thug walked behind Venus and stepped on her tail. She yowled in pain as she turned to the thug and hissed, "You just made the biggest mistake of your life." Venus kicked him in the groin making the thug squeal in pain and she then did a backflip kick on his chin. Then a brute with a sledgehammer came over and slammed it over at Spider-Man and Venus' direction. The two dodged it as Spider-Man leaped at the brute feet first to kick him. The brute raised his sledgehammer to pound Spider-Man but didn't get the chance to when Venus' chain coiled around his sledgehammer. She pulled the brute onto the floor on his back as Spider-Man then flipped over to him and knocked him out. Now the two teammates weren't disoriented anymore. Spider-Man then sensed shooters with flashlights as he silently ordered Venus to hold onto his back which she did without question. Spider-Man crawled on the walls and into an exit before the shooters could get them.

Spider-Man and Venus found themselves in a similar twisted hallway with pipes, paintings, and bookshelves when they first entered the other room. Finally they got out only to find a room surrounded by clown head doors. Then Venus heard a noise and asked, "What's that noise, Spidey?" Spider-Man listened as he answered, "More gas. We gotta find the right door before we get measured for a wooden kimono." Venus nodded as she watched her boyfriend use his senses to find which door was the exit. Spider-Man found it as Venus wrapped her arms around him as he pulled themselves and crashed through the clown head door.

Spider-Man and Venus finally seemed to get out of the twisted haunted house parts to what seemed like a normal hallway. Venus let go as Spider-Man smiled, "Finally." Then the Goblin lunged at Spider-Man and snarled, "Not so fast!" Then the Goblin lifted his foot to stomp on Spider-Man but the web-slinger caught it and pushed the giant foot so the Goblin's knee hit his face. Venus then dashed over to scratch and kick the Goblin's glowing back. Goblin grunted as he grabbed Venus and threw her to Spider-Man as the two went through a trapdoor that landed them out of the haunted house. Venus was on top of Spider-Man as she smirked victoriously. Spider-Man chuckled nervously, "Venus... this is not the time or the place." She pouted, "Not now? We just had a date with danger inside of a haunted house. Now we can't kiss at the end?" Spider-Man assured, "I promise after this we go out on a date before we come back to our dimension." Venus reminded, "I'm gonna hold you on to that, Tiger." Then the two saw the Goblin on a Ferris wheel and he began lifting it up. Finally he threw the Ferris wheel toward Spider-Man and Venus. The two quickly leaped through the openings of the giant wheel and made it through. Spider-Man predicted, "He must've hated that ride." Venus pointed to another circus tent and stated, "He's in there." Spider-Man nodded, "Let's go!"

Sparkles shot up as Spider-Man and Venus entered. "And now, ladies and gentlemen... give a warm welcome to the cowardly Spider-Man and Venus the Two-Faced Cat Faunus!" announced the Goblin through the loudspeakers. "That dares to challenge the infamous and notorious Norman Osborn. Don't they just reek of heroism?" Spider-Man and Venus eventually found the Goblin in the middle of the ring. "Are you going to babble all night or are we going to end this?" asked Spider-Man. The Goblin turned to them and snapped, "You!" Venus replied, "That's us." The Goblin roared with fury as he ran toward them and swung his claws. The two dodged as Venus swung her chain whip on Goblin's back and Spider-Man did a handspring kick. The Goblin turned to strike his claws at them again but like before, Spider-Man and Venus dodged his blow. "Just die already!" snapped Goblin. He hit Spider-Man onto the ground and was about to stomp on him. Spider-Man caught the foot and pushed the giant foot so the Goblin's knee hit his face. He did an uppercut and did a spin kick on the Goblin's face. The Goblin was pushed back from that blow as Venus pounced on his glowing back and scratched him hard. The Goblin snarled as he threw her off of him. Venus rolled back up as the Goblin rushed toward her. Venus smirked as she made a flash double of herself which blinded Goblin and he ran over a pole. Goblin grunted as he rubbed his eyes to try and see clearly. Spider-Man backflipped himself into an empty cannon and shot himself at Goblin. The impact knocked the dazed Goblin out and landed next to Venus. They grabbed the fragment that floated out of Goblin. The two smiled at each other until they heard sirens coming. The two ran out of the circus tent as Spider-Man grabbed Venus and swung away out of the carnival.

The two changed into civilian clothes they could find as they went into a motel. "One room for one night, please," requested Peter. The key master nodded as he gave them a key. Peter and Venus went inside the room as they faced each other lovingly. "I know it's been hours since I went into this place," said Venus. "But it felt longer!" She hugged Peter as he hugged back and agreed, "Me, too. Venus... me, too."

Then the two kissed passionately as Venus wrapped her legs around Peter's waist and they fell on the bed together. There they began to consummate their relationship after a long hiatus.
