Team SVRN, Kraven the Hunter, and Calypso walked through the sewers until they saw a rural town and a sign next to Ricochet. He read, "Welcome To Lizard Underground City. Abandon All Hope For Humans And Faunus Who Enter. Sounds great." Then suddenly the town's locals, several lizard Bestials wearing rugged clothes saw them as one of them hissed, "Humans and Faunus! Rip them to shreds!" The six got into their battle pose as the lizard Bestials ran in all fours toward them. Kraven used his machete weapon to parry the strikes as Calypso dashed in her cheetah-like speed and used her lion strength to pound her foes. Ricochet bounce punched and kicked from lizard to lizard. Venus Deterzo coiled her whip around a lizard's clawed wrist and made him punch himself out cold. A near brutish female lizard went to strike Venus but got blinded by a bright light copy as Spider-Man shot several spider darts and knocked the female lizard out. Nightingale used her double-bladed weapon to sever some limbs from the lizards but found they grew back. Switching tactics, Nightingale put away her weapon and used her telekinetic powers to throw them through some buildings.
After the battle, Spider-Man led everyone to the middle of the town where they met up with Miranda Wilson herself with some brutish horned lizard Bestials. "Team SVRN," hissed Lizard. "It has been some time and some of you look different, but I can still tell you're you. Even you, the real Venus Deterzo." Venus replied, "Yeah, I heard what your Sinister Six teammate did to my clone and Eddie." Calypso added, "Stop this, Lizard. No one has get hurt." The reptilian Bestial scoffed, "The only ones that will get hurt is the rebellious flesh bags that deterred my master for too long and your existence, arachnid. And my asset as well." She walked aside as the team saw Scream in her humanoid form being held by two lizard Bestials. She looked weak as Nightingale could feel it, too. She asked, "What have you done to her?" Lizard answered, "Capturing the symbiote was easy. Wish the spore extraction was just as easy." Nightingale demanded, "Why would you do this?" Lizard responded coldly, "She can regenerate new spores. It was the only way to help the High Evolutionary's vision of the world come true. The only reason why she looks like this is because of your constant rebellion. If only you could open your eyes and embrace the truth of how the High Evolutionary is right." Spider-Man retorted angrily, "No. The High Evolutionary's 'vision of the world' is the only reason she's like this. He is forcing everyone to become Bestials without their permission!" Lizard growled, "Get them! Tear them for their crimes against the creator!" The brutish and horned lizards rushed toward the team for battle while Miranda retreated away through a door as Calypso saw her and chased after Lizard.
Calypso chased Lizard until finally she made it to an abandoned subway station with four generators. Calypso looked around to try and find Lizard. She could smell her scent. "Miranda," said Calypso gently. "Please come out. We can talk."
Lizard's pupils dilated in surprise. "What do you know about me, human scum?" hissed Lizard in venom. Calypso answered, "Your name is Miranda Wilson. I know about your hardships in the foster care system. I know what your father did to you."
Calypso heard Lizard's reply, "Zuko Wilson was no better than the fat bigwigs who made life miserable for the Faunus! But the High Evolutionary showed me a way to fix the system! Fix society where all human diseases are cured." Calypso sighed, "I won't disagree on how society is flawed." Lizard noted, "See, you understand! You were blessed by the High Evolutionary's vision for the future of Remnant. Yet you insist on fighting for the diseased! Why?"
Lizard heard Calypso explain, " I was forced to become this way, Miranda. I didn't choose this like you did. I grew to accept with what I am now. Perhaps I get strange looks from my colleagues, but at least I get to do so much more than what I was used to. The reason why I fight is because I do not want humans and Faunus to be forcefully consent into Bestials. That is what Herbert Wyndham wants. To take away everyone's right to choose what they want to be." Lizard looked at the vial in her hand and stared at the vial's contents.
Calypso asked, "Miranda, why do you wish to continue following the High Evolutionary?" Lizard appeared to her and answered, "Because he was more of a father to me than Zuko ever was." Understanding, Calypso reasoned, "I understand you want to fulfill your surrogate father's lifelong dream, but deep down you must know what he is doing is wrong." Lizard looked at the vial in her hand again and started, "You're the first human besides the High Evolutionary to talk to me in a deeper level..." Calypso reached out her hand for the green-scaled Bestial. Lizard stepped away and injected herself with it as she finished, "...but it won't help save you. I'm sorry..." Lizard certainly group the sides of her head as her transformation started to begin. Calypso watched as Lizard began to grow taller, had her back hunched over, bones spikes protruded even more, muscles in humanely large, and a large forked tongue. The Lizard roared at Calypso as the half-Bestial wiped a tear from her cheek. Calypso apologized woefully, "I'm sorry as well... for making me do this." She still ready to fight against the newly transformed and monstrous Lizard.

The Lizard roared as she then swung her clawed wrists at Calypso who dodged them. She tried hitting the giant reptile but the blows were having no affect even with her lion strength. Lizard intertwined her fists and pounded the ground making Calypso leap backwards away. Lizard lunged at the half-Bestial woman and tried to eat her but Calypso managed to push herself out of Lizard's mouth but also broke it. Lizard then leaped onto the wall and to the next one as she tried to pounce on Calypso. She somersaulted away as Calypso grabbed Lizard's tail and spun around hard enough to let go making Lizard crash into the generator. That hurt her and Lizard got back up and roared with fury. She ran in all fours as Calypso jumped onto Lizard's back and steered her into crashing into another generator. Calypso jumped off as Lizard went berserk and went to jumping on the walls again to then pounce on Calypso. She noticed Lizard's jaw had healed as the giant reptile tried to eat her again. Calypso kicked Lizard in the snout as she leaped over Lizard and grabbed her tail again. She threw her to the third generator making Lizard even more mad. Lizard chased after Calypso who lured her into crashing the last generator. Lizard got down on one knee feeling hurt as she snarled at Calypso who offered, "Please just let me help you." Lizard roared in refusal and went to swipe her claws but Calypso caught her hand and pushed it away. Calypso then dashed in her super speed and leaped toward Lizard with a strong flying kick.
Lizard went flying onto the electric railings where she roared in agony. Calypso shouted, "MIRANDA!!!" She ran to see the Lizard was changing back to her form from before. Calypso jumped in to grab Lizard and leaped back to the station where Team SVRN and Kraven came running in with Scream being carried by Venus. Calypso stroked Lizard's scaled cheek as her yellow eyes looked at Calypso and asked upsettingly, "Why... did you do that? I... I was so beautiful." Then Lizard passed out as Calypso looks at Lizard with sorrow. "If only I could help her," murmured Calypso as Kraven places his hand on her shoulder.
