Colonel John Jameson and Karen O'Malley entered through the vents of the power plant as they finally got out. Karen took out a gadget and said, "The communications room is up one level." The two started walking as suddenly sentry guns appeared on the floor and began blasting. The two Rebels took cover as John returned fire.
Spider-Man kept dodging the blasts as he thought, 'Even Velvet couldn't keep this hopping up!' He jumped to the control panel and made a web shield. Spider-Man turned to the control panel and began doing the sequence Bromley taught him.
John and Karen ran as another sentry gun shot John's side before he blasted it. Karen said with concern, "You're hurt." He insisted, "I'll survive. Let's just keep moving."
Meanwhile the Rebels, Venus Deterzo, Ricochet, and Nightingale continued their fight against the Machine Men until the robots were shut down. Everyone celebrated with victory.
The robots weren't the only ones getting shut down, the upper world was also shorting out.
Spider-Man noticed the power plant was also in a blackout as he smiled, "That'll show them to mess with the web meister!" Then he noticed some electricity crackling as it took form of an electric eel Bestial in a green, yellow, and black lightning themed costume.

Spider-Man exclaimed, "What the?" The electric eel Bestial smirked, "Time for you to meet your maker! Electro!" He zapped Spider-Man's web shield into nothing as Spider-Man jumped on the ceiling. He spun a web line toward the electric eel Bestial but it ended up like the web shield. "You'll have to do better than that, bug boy!" laughed Electro snidely.
Karen looked around and said, "Auxiliary power. That should run the basic systems." She walked over to a panel with a computer screen and pressed a few keys. The room reactivated as John started to feel pain on his sides. He tried to ignore it as he handed Karen a disc. "This disc has our demands," said John. "Send this to the High Evolutionary." He tossed it to her as she inserted the disc. John walked off to make sure he keeps distance from Karen and tries to hold off his transformation. He collapsed on the floor.
Spider-Man went swinging away as Electro chased after him. The web-slinger kept spinning web balls as Electro smirked, "Pathetic. I was hoping for a challenge. Destiny won't allow it." Spider-Man joked, "Destiny? Where's he hiding?" Electro threw a lightning bolt at him as Spider-Man leaped away from it.
Soon enough the High Evolutionary's face appeared on the computer screen. "What is the meaning of this outrage?!" demanded the High Evolutionary. Karen glared, "What's it look like, big shot? We just shut you down."
Electro pointed at Spider-Man and smirked, "You're energy keeps on weakening. But my energy keeps on replenishing!" He blasted another lightning bolt as Spider-Man leaps away from the blast again. "One day I'll be facing bigger and better things," declared Electro. Spider-Man replied, "Listen, pal. If you want to go staging on this, fine by me." He then web swung away.
The High Evolutionary asked regally, "You humans and Faunus think this pitiful attempt of rebellion will change anything?" Karen answered boldly, "We sure hope so. Unless our demands are met, half of Counter-Vale will stay shut down." The High Evolutionary repeated, "Demands? No one makes demands to the creator! Certainly not humans! Or Faunus!"
Unbeknownst to them, John was starting to transform back to Man-Wolf.
Spider-Man got shocked by Electro's blast as the web-slinger fell on a pipe and ledge. Electro floated next to Spider-Man and stated, "Once I get the city back online, the creator will have to get me the ultimate reward! A place with the Knights of Wundagore!" He started to fly toward the generator.
The High Evolutionary looked at Karen as he continued, "The waste on this plant condemns you. You think you deserve better?! If humans and Faunus must suffer to persevere the clarity of my kingdom, so be it! That is a sacrifice for High Evolutionary is willing to make." Karen questioned, "You're willing? What about us?" Then she heard a growl and saw Man-Wolf with John's torn-up clothes. Karen widened, "John?" Man-Wolf didn't understand as it thrashed the panel and chased after her.
Spider-Man got up as he shot a web line and thought, 'I've gotta stop Electro from turning the power back online! Destiny or no destiny.' He swung after Electro who had already made it to the generator. He went to the panel but Spider-Man covered it with webs. "Better," snarked Electro. "But not good enough!"
Karen pointed her gun at Man-Wolf as she said shakily, "I don't have to do this, John." Man-Wolf ignored her and pounced on her. Then it saw Spider-Man and Electro fighting. It ran toward them leaving Karen behind. Spider-Man kicked Electro but the feedback made them both hit the floor on their backs. That was when Spider-Man saw Man-Wolf snarling as he realized, 'Your implant must've shorted out again! The powerdown must've grown enough hair for the Beacon Tower.' Man-Wolf grabbed his leg as Spider-Man protested, "It's Sparky you want, not me!" He kicked the werewolf away as Electro said, "Your pet looks hungry. Would he like a barbecue snack?" He showed several sparklers with his hands. Man-Wolf ran toward Electro as Spider-Man shot a web line and slammed the werewolf on the electric eel Bestial who went into the generator. That made Electro went into overload as he struggled to get off the generator but couldn't. Karen came in as she said, "We gotta get out of here! The place's gonna overload!" Man-Wolf got back up and started to corner the two. The generator blew apart as Man-Wolf went to lunge at them. Spider-Man shot some impact webbing and it entangled Man-Wolf and he fell on its head. Spider-Man picked it up as he and Karen started running.
They made it the aerial vehicle as Spider-Man sets Man-Wolf down and it reverted back to John which made Karen gasp. Then she flew the vehicle away as the power plant exploded.
Venus Deterzo, Ricochet, and Nightingale met up with the three as they started to explain the situation about John and Man-Wolf. "Karen," started John. "I know what you must be thinking. The leader being part-Bestial..." Karen replied, "Hush, John. Get some rest. We'll all be happy knowing that power plant is history and its radiation is sealed off." Venus faced Spider-Man and asked, "You faced another super-villain without us? Tell me at least you took a picture!" Ricochet agreed, "Yeah, 'cause that Electro guy sounded awesome!" Spider-Man shrugged apologetically, "Sorry, guys. Didn't have my camera. Besides, I was trying to not get my butt fried." Venus pouted, "You suck sometimes." Spider-Man chuckled, "I love you too, my little kitty." She huffed, but hugged him and gave Spider-Man a kiss on the cheek. That amused John and Karen as Spider-Man looked at them.
