Team SVRN were sitting on top of a scoreboard, watching the Counter-Vale Bestial edition of baseball. Spider-Man smiled, "Baseball. Everyone's favorite pastime. A three hotdog night." Venus Deterzo wondered, "What are chili dogs made of here?" Ricochet shrugged, "Second thought, you don't wanna know." Nightingale nodded, "This has been a joyous double date, but should we get going?" Spider-Man agreed, "It may have the name, but it's not the same." They left as this version of baseball was actually a techno version of soccer. It even had its own techno theme song.

A green parakeet Bestial wearing a neon green jersey and pants bumped the ball on his head as a tortoise Bestial in a purple jersey and pants tried to block the ball. The ball sailed past him making the green team score a point. The crowd cheered, even humans and Faunus were watching the game.

Even Lord Tyger was in his private booth watching the game. Sir Ram was also inside and looked at the cheering human and Faunus fans wearing body paint and costumes with slight disapproval. "The humans and Faunus are getting unruly," grumbled Sir Ram. "We should have them removed." Lord Tyger replied, "Let them be, Ram. They are here to enjoy the game as much as we are." Sir Ram walked over to him as he commented, "Your tolerance with the subspecies is admirable, my Lord, but is it wise?" Lord Tyger responded, "You're blocking my view." Sir Ram moved away from Lord Tyger as he continued to watch the game.

The Rebels were also at the game. John Jameson held out a pair of binoculars and said, "Lord Tyger is in his box office. Never misses a game." Karen O'Malley asked, "Do you think we can convince him to come to the Basement with us?" He replied, "I don't know. Of all the Knights of Wundagore, he's our best chance of getting a fair shake from the High Evolutionary." Daniel Bromley reminded, "Assuming we can get pass his bodyguards with our scowl sneak attack." The three Rebels along with Git Hoskins got up off their seats and went on their way.

Two Public Eye officers were on guard of the entrance of Lord Tyger's private booth. One was a wolverine Bestial and the other was a lion Bestial. They both heard a noise as the wolverine Bestial suggested, "Better check that out." The lion Bestial nodded in agreement as he walked over to the door leading to the staircase. The wolverine Bestial pulled out his radio and asked, "Find anything?" There was no answer. "Charlie, you hear me?" asked the wolverine Bestial. Then he got surrounded by Karen, John, and Git. "Look, we don't want any trouble," said Karen softly. John asked in his radio, "You cleared, Bromley?"

Bromley replied, "As a midnight summer's dream. Our friend is in his foggy hour." He carried the unconscious lion Bestial upstairs and placed him against the wall.

"Stay alert," warned John. "Git, get us in." Git nodded as he used his bandages to go under the crack of the door and opened it on the other side. They entered inside as John said, "I see you're a fan, Lord Tyger." Lord Tyger and Sir Ram turned to see the Rebels as the ram Bestial snarled, "You!" Lord Tyger stayed calm as John added, "We don't want to hurt anyone, but we don't intend to get hurt either. Lord Tyger, may we have a word with you?" The Knight got up from his chair as he responded, "I don't know what you're up to, Rebel, but you're interrupting my enjoyment of an important game." The wolverine Bestial pushed John and Karen away as he grabbed her gun and used his radio to activate a silent alarm.

Bromley notice the beeping of the silent alarm as he ran upstairs and opened the door. He warned, "Everybody, fall back!" Bromley was then ambushed by several Public Eye officers with their blaster fire. Bromley returned fire and threw some mini bombs toward them. They blew up knocking the Public Eye officers on the floor. John, Karen, and Git started to run as Bromley gestured them to hurry. He turned to run but Sir Ram shot Bromley, wounding his shoulder. That put Bromley into unconsciousness as Sir Ram walked over to him.

The three Rebels continued to run as they being pursued by the Public Eye's blaster fire. Karen realized, "Bromley! They got Bromley!" John assured, "We'll do what we can for Bromley. Now move!" They made it the exit leading to the parking lot. Karen and Git jumped off several cars until they got to their own while John stayed behind and kept the Public Eye busy with his shooting. The Rebels' car ascended up as John leaped up and Git used his coils to pull the colonel to their car. Both vehicles quickly left the parking lot and into the city.

Sir Ram went to Lord Tyger and reported, "The others got away but we have this one." A fully conscious Bromley cuffed and surrounded by four Public Eye officers. "Enlighten me, Rebel," asked Lord Tyger. "What was the purpose of this futile foray?" Sir Ram predicted, "It is obvious that they were here for you. A kidnapping attempt." Bromley repeated angrily, "Kidnapping attempt?! Why you-!" He ran to assault Sir Ram but was grounded on the floor by the Public Eye officers. Sir Ram smirked, "A ransom on your head would be quite attractive to these hooligans. It was fortunate that I was able to foil their plot." Lord Tyger faced Bromley as he said, "I was suppose it was. Press his wound and place him under arrest. The High Evolutionary would want to know about this."
