Chapter 24- Eight Arms Of A Doctor Part 2

Doctor Octopus was frustrated of how even Team SVRN was still separated, they managed to ruin everything. She calmed down, seeing it was only a minor setback. Doctor Octopus attaches her robotic arms to her Condensed Matter Reactor and began to activate it. It was then until Team SVRN showed up together after destroying the generators. Doctor Octopus smiled smugly, "Congratulations, you've shut down a number of redundant energy batteries. A minor inconvenience!" She began to glow with her fragment's power as she continued, "As long as I have the artifact, my Reactor is unstoppable. And the destruction I wreck with it will be a testament to its magnificent design!" Venus Deterzo teased, "Really? Doesn't seem much like a machine when it's powered by a magical rock." Doctor Octopus gritted, "You cretin! Do you even the slightest idea what complicated engineering is required for it successfully derive energy from a mystical artifact? Do you? DO YOU?!" Then Ricochet replied, "Meh." Then Doctor Octopus screamed, "I'LL KILL YOU!" Nightingale murmured, "Maybe we should not have angered her."

Doctor Octopus and her Reactor surrounded herself with a force field as it fired laser beams. Spider-Man signals his Ricochet and Nightingale to keep Doctor Octopus busy. The two nodded as Spider-Man and Venus went to the switches on the sides of the Reactor. They used their webs and whip to pull the switches off and that deactivated the force field. Doctor Octopus detached her robotic arms and charged toward Ricochet who jumped over her. Doctor Octopus then charged toward Nightingale who somersaults away. Then Doctor Octopus noticed she needed a recharge of the fragment's power. She attached her robotic arms to the machine as Spider-Man web rushed toward Doctor Octopus and kicked her off the Reactor. She kneeled down as Spider-Man grabbed her robotic arms and threw her to the wall. Doctor Octopus got up fully powered and charged at Venus. The Chimera cat Faunus coiled her whip around Doctor Octopus' legs and did a spin kick that sent the villainess rolling on the floor. Doctor Octopus got back up as she failed to notice Nightingale's two curved swords pinned two of the robotic arms on the floor. Ricochet threw two discs on her head and stomach. Doctor Octopus used her other robotic arms to remove the swords as it disappeared and reappeared to Nightingale's hands. Doctor Octopus charged toward Spider-Man who dodged her as the villainess went back to the Reactor for another recharge. Ricochet kicked Doctor Octopus off the machine as Spider-Man grabbed her robotic arms and threw her to the wall again. "We gotta destroy that machine!" stated Spider-Man. Ricochet nodded, "Leave that to me!" He grabbed some explosive discs and threw at the Reactor as Doctor Octopus got up and rushed to hook herself to the Reactor but was too late. Her Reactor was destroyed as the force flew onto the floor. Doctor Octopus got into unconsciousness as the fragment she held flew toward Spider-Man's hand. Madame Web with her machine appeared and smiled, "Good work, Team SVRN for recovering these mystical fragments but the fight isn't over yet. For now, allow me to take you home and celebrate as you see fit." Then she transported them home before Lord Tyger and Sir Ram came to the spheric room and saw Doctor Octopus.

Later Tonight, Wundagore Castle At High Evolutionary's Throne Room
Doctor Octopus was brought before the High Evolutionary by Lord Tyger and Sir Ram for punishment. Her gear was confiscated from her so she was now Serena Patel. "Your betrayal will not go unnoticed, Patel," glared the High Evolutionary. "Or unpunished. Therefore I am stripping your position as head of the Shadow Division in Alchemax. You will no longer have access to your gear or your scientific resources. Instead I sentence you to service at the Bestial Serum Plant. Take her away." Sir Ram nodded, "At once, my Excellency." Sir Ram and two knights dragged Serena away as the High Evolutionary and Lord Tyger watched. "Who will be in charge of the Shadow Division now, Excellency?" asked Lord Tyger. The High Evolutionary answered, "Carlton Drake, owner of the Life Foundation Facility in Alchemax. I trust that he will do well in his position. Will you?" Carlton Drake nodded, "I will make sure that Alchemax will focus on your goals and nothing more."

Meanwhile at Alchemax
Spider-Carnage, She-Venom, Agony, Lasher, Riot, and Phage explored the Shadow Division and saw the technorganic monsters Team SVRN fought. Spider-Carnage analyzed, "These creatures are similar to our Synoptic counterparts." She-Venom agreed, "They will do well as our foot soldiers when we take Wundagore Castle." Phage whined, "Can't we take Wundagore Castle now?! We're growing impatient!" Spider-Carnage snarled and reminded, "You need to be patient! We will get our chance to make the High Evolutionary pay for what he did." She-Venom agreed, "It will have to be when the High Evolutionary is at his weakest. And we still need an army of our own." Riot spoke up, "I saw some scorpion Bestial eggs when we were ransacking one of the labs." She-Venom commended, "Good work, Riot. You three collect as many of these eggs as you can while Agony, myself, and Spider-Carnage get these creatures to our home." Lasher, Riot, and Phage nodded and left as the three symbiotes went to collecting the technorganic creatures. Unbeknownst to the other symbiotes, Spider-Carnage already had ulterior motives. He just needed to bid his time when the opportunity presents itself.
