Chapter 13- Rebellious Escape

The Knights instantly took cover while the seven ran to a red flying pickup truck and they flew off away as a part of Alchemax exploded. The woman berated, "I said a mild explosion, Bromley. Is that what you call a mild explosion?" Bromley answered, "Well, compared to what else I could do." The woman reminded, "And I said leave plenty of time to get away." Bromley replied, "Current, love. We had eight point seven seconds to spare. You're losing your sense of drama, darling." Then they noticed the Knights of Wundagore were flying after them while blasting them. Spider-Man quickly made a web shield as the Knights of Wundagore chased after them. The Knights shot at Spider-Man's web shield as Venus asked, "Can this thing move any faster?" The woman went to the mummy who was driving and ordered, "Step on it in high gear! The sooner we get to the basement, the sooner we lose 'em!" He nodded as the flying truck went faster.

The Bestials, humans, and Faunus looked up above to see the chase between the Rebels and the Knights of Wundagore. Even a short blonde haired woman in a suit and a hippopotamus Bestial took notice. Along with the Knights, both Bestials in police uniforms on flying motorcycles and Machine Men joined with the Knights.

The truck does a barrel roll while evading the Knights' blasts. Lord Tyger takes the lead of the pursuers while a robot flies next to him firing. Bromely and the woman duck as they are attacked and shoot back.

A truck flies out between the buildings behind the battle. A robot is blasted by and into the truck. The driver spills his coffee and screams when he hits the robot.

The woman then pulls out a knife and threw it. The knife flew through the air and accurately lodged itself into Sir Ram's gun. He quickly discarded the disabled gun. Nightingale complimented, "Excellent aiming." Ricochet asked, "So when can we meet the Wizard and go home?" Bromley answered, "You've already met him. Mr. High and mighty Evolutionary. He's the one responsible for all this." The woman explained, "Fifty years ago, he created the Bestials and turned the humans and Faunus into the dregs of society." Venus gasped, "My god, but how did he managed to turn everyone into Bestials fifty years ago?" Spider-Man figured, "He must've used actual animals to create the first Bestials before creating a more stable formula to turn human and Faunus into Bestials." Ricochet added, "You can accomplish a lot in fifty years and six months." Venus noted, "We know about the Knights and Machine Men, but what about the Bestials in police uniforms?" The woman explained, "The Knights deal with the dangerous and important threats, but the Machine Men and the Public Eye are the Knights' enforcers." The woman then added sarcastically, "Don't you feel honored?" Venus pouted at the woman as Spider-Man reminded, "Easy, Venus." Then Spider-Man noticed a Machine Man and exclaimed, " evil robot at the port bow!" He spun two web lines on the Machine Man and entangled it. The purple and blue robot crashed into a building and exploded. That began to hit nearby buildings as debris began to fall. The parts of the Machine Man began to quickly descend toward the Knights and Public Eye. "Move out!" ordered Lord Tyger as they scattered away from the destroyed robot. Lord Tyger saw that the Rebels and Team SVRN got away. He activates the screen on his vehicle to contact Lady Vermin. He ordered, "Lady Vermin, continue pursuit." She agreed, "Aye, my lord." Then Lady Vermin flies down into the clouds. Lord Tyger looks at Lady Ursula who looks at Sir Ram when he flies next to her. Then they all flew down. The Public Eye joined them in their flight.

Finally the Rebels and Team SVRN managed to get away from the Knights of Wundagore, Public Eye, and Machine Men. The flying truck descended down to the street next to a sewer lid. They got off as Ricochet joked, "Whew, I'll never sneer at the side of a rollercoaster again." The woman chuckled as she admired, "You had some nice moves back there, for a couple huntsmen-in-training." Spider-Man replied, "Hey, we faced against aliens during our first year at Beacon Academy. Don't insult us." Bromley and the mummy lift the sewer lid as the woman shrugged, "Whatever said experience, hope your outfits don't stain." The team and woman walked over to the opened sewer lid and Spider-Man sighed, "Why can't we meet people that live in a penthouse?" Venus agreed, "Yeah? You don't see the Fantastic Four go in sewers." Then one by one they each went into the sewer.

Unbeknownst to them, there were two parties that spotted The Rebels and Team SVRN go into the sewer. Unfortunately the two parties know that they were each going after them.

The first party was Lady Vermin and a couple of Public Eye officers. They went over to the opened sewer lid. Lady Vermin held out her arm's comm device and reported, "Lord Tyger, the High Evolutionary's plan is working. The fools are leading me to their secret headquarters. Soon we will have them all."

The second party was the escaped symbiotes from Alchemax led by Spider-Carnage. "That foolish Knight and half-witted Public Eye officers will lead us to the Anti-Synoptic," said Lasher. Venom II asked, "How shall we proceed?" Spider-Carnage replied, "Follow them with our army and wipe them out. All of them."
