Elektra

Her voice seemed to echo throughout my head, my body tingled and a fire seemed to set itself in my heart.

"Who is she?"

Someone seemed to be calling my name yet again but it wasn't her, no, this voice was familiar... Jake

"Jake?"

"Oh thank god. Guys, she is awake. Elektra can you open your eyes?"

At his request I made an effort to open my eyes, blinking a couple of times in order to adjust to the bright light in the room. "What happened?"

"We are honestly not sure, one minute you had your head on the table, the next you are passed out on the floor. You looked disoriented, as if you didn't know where you were. It was scary." The answer came from Jayd who looked like she had seen a ghost.

"Do you remember anything at all?" Lex asked, concern evident in his voice.

I remembered, I remembered the dungeon, the smell of death, the pain but most of all I remembered her voice, calm and serene, questioning as if she was as surprised as I was. I wasn't supposed to see that, to be there but somehow it happened.

"No." I said without hesitation, hoping they would believe me. "I don't remember what happened. I know I had a headache at the beginning of the day, I remember laying my head on the canteen table but everything else is a blank."

"Oh, that's okay El, don't push yourself to remember, just make sure to rest." Came the almost motherly advice from Jayd.

"The nurse said that you fainted because you used too much energy, somehow you drained yourself which made your body weak. She doesn't know how though."

That's unsettling, I did nothing that exerted energy, especially to a point where I pass out.

"She says that you should rest for now. She doesn't know what it is but apparently we should expect it to happen again." Said Jason, looking as confused as the rest of us.

"Dad wanted me to tell you to forget about school today. He will be picking you up now that you are awake."

"It's the first day of school, I can't miss." Don't judge me, I took school very seriously, I was after all, a nerd. "I'm fine now, I don't even feel dizzy, couldn't you guys just keep an eye on me?"

They looked towards each other, exchanging concerned looks about my state of health but knowing that I would fight this until I had my way.

"The nurse said it herself, it can happen again, it doesn't matter where so why not stay in school where you guys can take care of me?" That seemed to have done it because they all nodded their heads, though reluctantly, as Jake spoke up.

"I will tell dad not to come. He will want to see you when you get back home to make sure you are alright though."

"That's fine, as long as I can stay here and finish my lessons."

"Okay I will call him. Jayd and Jason you guys can go back to class." The twins were about to complain when Jake interrupted them. "I will be there in a few minutes, just have to call my dad."

The twins made their way to me and dropped a kiss on each of my cheeks. I had to smile at that, they were so cute when they were worried, even Jason went from a fierce Beta's son to a cuddly little puppy, not that I would ever say that to their faces.

"Bye Elektra"

"Bye guys, don't worry, I'm fine now."

As they left the room to go to class and Jake went out to call his dad I was left alone with Lex that for some reason was staring and raising his eyebrow at me...
