Elektra's POV

What now?

Detaching my lips from Sarah's plump ones, I raise my head and acknowledge whoever is on the other side of the door.

"What is it?"

I attempted to be polite however my voice took on a tone of annoyance and I could not stop the anger at being interrupted from coating my voice.

"I am looking for Alpha Sarah." Came the answer from a deep, male voice.

His name brought bile to my throat that I forcefully pushed back down as my anger turned into a blinding rage. His presence was the least desired at this moment and I could not help but feel enraged at the fact that he had seen my mate just as she was, naked and glowing from her orgasm, completely open and inviting, a Goddess unlike any other.

Sarah moved slightly under me at the sound of his voice yet made no move to push me away or even compose herself. Taking that as a sign to send him away, I spoke once more.

"She is not here at the moment. I would advise you to leave and look for her somewhere else." This time I could not stop the anger and irritation from completely taking over my voice so what came out was more of a command to leave rather than a polite piece of advice.

It was silent for a few seconds before he spoke again, this time sounding just as annoyed as I was, though I had no idea why that would be.

"Alpha Derek told me that he had last seen her here. They had a meeting yet Alpha Derek was the only one to join us in the living room."

A small growl was heard but I knew only I could hear it as it came from the monster that had awakened at the sound of the man outside. My body grew tense as I forced myself not to open the door and rip his throat out. Sarah, noticing the sudden change in my mood, ran her hands down my back soothingly, making me relax into her touch.

Lowering my head, I nuzzled her neck and took a deep breath before answering.

"Alpha Sarah was indeed here however she left not long ago, saying something about going for a run."

My voice was steady and confident, no signs of anger there, thanks to the beauty underneath me. I could feel Sarah smirk in my neck as she placed soft kisses around the area.

There was silence on the other side of the door as if he had left however I could still feel his presence, standing close by the door.

"Why are you in the Alpha's office?"

This guy doesn't know when to give up

"If you ask him, I'm sure he won't mind telling you however, since you seem eager to know, I am a pack member, taken in by the Alpha himself and raised with his children."

"That still doesn't explain why you are in his office."

I growled then, growled out of annoyance and anger, at the irritating man that Sarah had somehow found attractive enough to almost destroy our bond.

Becoming aware of my frustration, Sarah moved to sit up, pushing me away from her in order to do so. She brought her hands to my face and kissed me gently before pushing me further away and moving quickly about the office, gathering her clothes as she went. I was so distracted by her naked beauty that I had forgotten the man outside, whom had decided to try and open the door, only to find it locked.
