We stood in silence, neither of us really knowing what to say. This was far from a normal situation, or a comfortable one for that matter, though that seemed to only bother me as I quickly turned my back to her. Aqua seemed perfectly fine with her nakedness, no signs of shyness or embarrassment. Not that she would have to feel embarrassed, she was absolutely beautiful.

I blushed slightly at that thought, I shouldn't be looking at her that way.

Goddess I'm turning into Jason whenever he sees a woman he finds attractive

"Why did you come back?"

Her voice was as I remember, majestic, as if she came from a completely different world. I didn't turn around, knowing for sure that if I did I would be blushing and probably stuttering like a fool.

"I wanted to see you." That sounded misleading or maybe it was just me overthinking things. I wasn't sure so I decided to elaborate. "To thank you for saving my life. If you hadn't been there I would have died."

I heard rustling behind me, hoping that she was putting clothes on I waited until she spoke again.

"You don't have to thank me. Anyone would have done the same if they saw someone drown." There was more rustling noises.

"I'm not sure about that... Either way I want to thank you by inviting you to a party at our pack house in two days time. There will be food and drink, it's the least I can do. Plus I would like to get to know you better, it's not everyday I get to meet a water nymph and I must admit I'm curious."

The rustling sounds stopped as I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Aqua smiling at me and thankfully she had put on some clothes. She was now wearing dark blue shorts and a white tank top, she looked fairly normal with those clothes though she still had that white glow around her that screamed mythical creature.

"I would love to go to your party. I don't usually socialise with anyone that isn't my own kind. I honestly have never spoken to a human."

Well I wasn't expecting that. It was hard to believe that she had never spoken to a human though I must admit it makes sense. Humans are horrible to each other, I can only begin to imagine what they would do if they found a water nymph, a creature that is supposed to be a myth and nothing more.

"I'm happy to be the first human that you have met, oh and my name is Elektra but my friends call me El." I put my hand forward for her to shake which she thankfully takes without hesitation.

"It's nice to meet you El. My name is Aqua as you know and I'm a water nymph that has a tendency to sneak out to come see the human world."

It was at that moment that Lex made an appearance.

"Hey El, I was wondering where..." he stopped half way through his sentence when his eyes fell on Aqua. His mouth was hanging open as he simply stared at the girl in front of him.

Despite being in normal clothes, Aqua still had an aura around her that made her seem inhuman, the glow that came from her body, her too pale skin and white hair made her stand out even amongst the most beautiful of women. She was a sight to see.

As he made no move to talk, I stepped up and introduced them. "Lex this is Aqua the water nymph that saved my life. Aqua this is Lex, a long time friend."

"It's nice to meet you Lex."

"It's nice to meet you too. Sorry if I seem a bit shocked but I have never seen nor met a water nymph before."

"It was my first time meeting a human just a few days ago. So in that department we are both going to be learning new things." Aqua smiled sincerely. Lex seemed to approve of her because he returned her smile and went in for a hug.
