EPISODE 7:
9 hours ago:
"I'm sorry," I begged the boss who was already fed up by my weird "paranormal tendencies" in the past.
"Get out!" He pushed me out of the clinic and glared. "You expect to be a psychologist without the proper medication for your own crazy mind? You were out for two days! Two! I called and no one answer, it's like you disappeared off the face of the earth leaving me with all of your goddamn work to do! I see enough patients as it is, I don't have time for slackers!"
"One more chance! Please, I can't explain myself but I was dealing with issues."
"Take your issues and go somewhere else. I'd be surprised if you find a decent job one day!" The door slammed in my face.
I bit my lower lip, stopping it from trembling and headed back home.
Except that I had no home anymore.
Tears fell down my face.
When I asked the landlord what happened to grandma, she told me she didn't know. That she probably took off.
But Grandma was dead, and I couldn't even get to properly bury her.
"GET AWAY!" I screamed, scaring the that ghost popped up in front of me. "It's all your fault!" I cried. It was the demon's fault. Why me? Why did I have to suffer through this for my whole life?
I ran and ran, trying to find a place where I can distract myself. I ran along the glowing Han river and covered my wiped away my blurry vision.
I stopped by the crossroad, facing my university. I might as well stay inside. In a few days, I won't even be able to pay my tuition.
I ran past the sign and quickly shut the door behind me, leaving the several demons I've lined up outside.
"Hey! You can't be here for too long, we're going to lock the school!"
I have to find the school church.
I ran past the canteen and stopped when I heard a small girl crying.
I looked down, picking up a handkerchief that seemed to belong to a girl called "Sera".
Slowly, I approached the psychology department, peeking behind the wall to the hallway that branched to Professor Kim's class.
"Is your name Sera?" I softly asked. She nodded, burying her head in her knees.
"What are you doing here?" I widened my eyes at the little girl, huddled in the shadow of the dark hallway.
She mumbled something, but I couldn't hear her.
"What?" I approached her closer.
"Hel..." She sniffled. Was she one of the professor's daughters?
"Go home, it's not safe to be here alone. Where are your, parents?"
"Help me!" She screeched. An intense wind had me stumbling two steps back as my eyes widened. A demon appeared from thin air behind her and reached out to me.
