Episode 17: D e v i l 's D o v e

V's words still haunted me that night.

I still didn't know much about them and it honestly did bother me a bit. But if what he said was true, then should I really despise Jimin for whatever he did in the past? Was I even ready to learn the tragic sins he's committed? Should I even care about them?

I shook my head, clearing away any thoughts that had to do with V.

Since when was he someone I should take seriously anyway? He was probably just telling me this because he was as spiteful as usual. He just wanted me to be scared enough so his sadistic pleasures could be fulfilled in his little twisted game, that's all.

Sera softly snored on the bed beside mine, curled up in a small ball. Softly, I tucked her small frame under the covers. She's been sleeping too much lately, which did get me slightly worried. I think she's been rather different after her accident with V, or Satan—whichever one it was. But then again I might just be way too paranoid. Maybe it was because she was tired after playing around in this big mansion all day.

Either way, it must have been nice to be so young and just sleep your worries and fatigue away.

Jin sat in the bar inside his club Lucifer drinking absinthe as he watched the young fervor of the supernatural youth endlessly dance through the devil's hours.

Truthfully, however, all that he could think about was his current obsession with the ancient stones. Jin was cautious to never let himself fall deep into the corruption of Gluttony that once devoured him. But recently, he was starting to get a little desperate for that last stone. It didn't make sense, he had practically scoured the mountains of the world and any place where he could find something that so much even resembled a stone.

For once, it wasn't just an obsession based off of a whim. Given the prophecy Suga had told him, the ancient stones would have a wish come true but it would come with a large price. Regardless, Jin finally has a goal and his wish was to get back to Abaddon. Despite not really minding the ways of this mundane word, he was growing tired of the constant changes it went through. He wanted to go back to his powerful status and his natural authority as a demon prince. Only then could he get whatever he desired without a punishment.

He smirked, pausing the drink midway to his lips and turned around on his chair, meeting what was probably the most beautiful woman that he had ever seen in his life walk his way. In fact, she seemed so ethereal to him it was hard to think she was completely normal.

Her long legs gleamed against the reflection of the club's overhead light. He let his eyes first rest on the short length of her teasing white dress, then climb up to her luscious brown waves that bounced gently atop her full cleavage with each confident step.

"Hell-o there," Jin locked his gaze onto her smiling hazel eyes. Finally she clacked her white heels over and took a seat on the stool beside him.

"Mind offering me a drink?" She leaned over, almost purposely sliding her chest closer to his face. He smirked and looked up at her face. It would certainly take a lot more than that to seduce him.

He sipped on his absinthe and grabbed the alcohol by the neck of the bottle as he poured a glass for her. "Of course not. Anything for an angel like you."

She eyed him mysteriously and took a sip as Jin continued to watch her with a teasing smile.

"I heard this club is owned by a handsome young man." She slid her hands atop of Jin's. He sat perfectly still, watching her creep in closer as she wrapped her other hand around his neck, closing in on his lips. "Someone like you." Her red lips brush against his.
